- So there’s security and then there’s Sentry Mode! Tesla’s Sentry Mode is a great way to record any activity that happens around your car or if someone happens to break in. It’s loaded with clever features to scare away thieves, review accidents or catch people looking to vandalize the car. It’s not perfect but it pretty good and I’ll explain all the details with plenty of examples on this video. This is explained using my 2021 Model Y. Please subscribe!
Buying a Tesla? Or have one on order?
You can use my referral link to get free Supercharger miles/kms on a new Tesla:

nice/quick and clear description on sentry mode. Good work mate!
Thanks bud!
Hoping they allow video from Tesla app (like Ring) soon.
Yeah I was expecting the major incident to be sent to my phone... but I was wrong as it was just a text notification. I think that’s an upcoming feature though.
Great tip as usual. Thoughts on doing one for Valet Mode?
fancy seeing you here mr C B ✌
Thanks and sure will look in to it! I haven’t tried it out myself as yet.
Will it drain your battery over night?
I’ve noticed it does consume a good amount of battery. In my opinion, the best way to think about it is it consuming 1-3% of battery a day.
Very Kewl ..Put about 2K KM so far past 3 weeks. Can you add yr Comments on Eagle F1 that came with my SRY c/w 20" induction wheels....I am finding them to be very stiff. XL tires are always at 42 psi cold.Any options? Do I need to change wheels to 19 and add extra rubber beneath me. Am also looking at buying the Verdstein All Weather tires for next year..Got some info from BTG...All in all very pleased. Am meeting nice people at Fairview Super charger recounting their Tesla stories and giving N/C advice .keep practicing the yukele
Haha need to get back to the Fairview Super charger, it’s been awhile :) I have the same set up as you and I find the stiffness is coming more from the suspension that the actual tires... they put a sporty like suspension in the Y. For my winter tires I will be going down a size (to 19’s) as it will provide slightly better traction and efficiency I feel. Not too familiar with the Verdstein but I think I’m leaning towards winter tires like the X Ice or something similar... I’ll be buying during the summer/early fall most likely for next season.
