I had no idea about OTP then. But the connection/relationship/friendship between Minseok and Luhan was so genuine to not notice their unique bond immediately. And the other two people were Tao and Sehun. Their connection was just too strong. I never understood or will understand why majority of the people ship HunHan.
I sometimes when i cant sleep i wonder what if one day Lu and Min see each other again... Like what if sm wasnt trash and Lu could visit imagine all the cute coffee dates they'll have... Ughh I'm gonna cry
XiuHan was like the reason for me to learn more about exo especially about the days where they were still 12. Actually, when I first reacted to exo, Minseok caught my interest and I only stan them. Well yeah, I watch exo videos/mvs because I want to learn more about minseok. I started by a solo stan. I knew Luhan because he was shipped with Xiumin the most along with Chen. That made me get further about exo and watch their old shows to get to more about Luhan or more xiuhan haha. EXO Showtime made me love the whole exo. I'm only a 4mnth old exo-ls but I'm confident that I've already learned about exo enough. Still need to watch their solo activities tho like Kyungsoo and Chanyeol's movies/drama. Suho and Kai's too. So, yeah, XiuHan was the reason why I watched EXO Showtime and became an OT12 stan and officially an exo-l. They were still my ultimate ship till now even tho Luhan already left. But there's still XiuChen, KaiSoo, and ChanBaek tho. Don't hate me for this but I low-key ship ChanHun, ChenBaek, ChanSoo and HunHo.
My missing Exo-M and Xiumin hours... came here again to cherish all these memories. A side of Minseok which is rare to see now. A friendship which surely did stand out. Xiumin will always be Lu's Baozi :'')) Its like how some people who we used to call our bffs then- we really did think it'll last forever ah... but now they are no longer an active part of our lives, the love faded a little as to what it used to be back then but you still cherish all the memories, wish them the best, be happy in their happiness and look over their current activities with a smile. Well... hunhan shippers used to be the craziest.. they are keeping it low now coz luhan already has a gf (altho when luhan publicly introduced her, there was an outrage in weibo, and that poor girl still get hate till now). But imo the craziest now is chanbaek shippers.. Their delusion is out of this world. And you bet they hatin every boy/girl that get close to chan or baek. I still remember how they made Mackenyu changed his Ig caption or flooding Yura’s comment section with chanbaek’s related theory.. I can’t imagine if baek or chanyeol has a gf or get married. Chen is a bit ‘lucky’ coz his main pairing is with minseok.. and xiuchen is always pretty mild.. and even chen and his wife receive so many hate. Can’t imagine what would happen with baekhyun n chanyeol’s partner.. and now with the exo ‘boyfriend’ concept in bubble. Goosebumps..

Zab Haha.. I understand what you mean. The thing with kpop & idols are shipping bxb & gxg are very common, esp with bxb. The companies even encourage them and sometimes deliberately pair the idols, asking them to do skinship to boost popularity.. which is why I understand if fans become so fanatic with their ship and will fight anyone (other members) who came between their fave ship. This was also happened with xiuhan.. coz we all knew LuHan’s most popular ship is with another member. Old exols said the fight between xh shippers & that other shippers was so fierce and crazy.. LOL.
But for me, shipping is just for fun.. I ship them romantically in fanfics or as a joke with my twitter mutuals. Coz in the end, we just fans.. we don’t know the idols real relationship or orientation or their real personalities.. Xiuhan is my ultimate ship because their friendship seems so genuine and pure.. at least that what I feel when luhan was still in exo. I hope they are still friends now and still talking to e/o

Yup thats one of the things I feel uncomfortable about the whole "idol" thing in kpop that they encourage alot of such stuff, as ofcourse they know all the ships themselves. Yeah HunHan is the most popular crazyyy one, and some fans go wayy too faaar- celebrating their wedding with cut outs like umm... WTF. Sooooo creeepy. I just wish to stay away from such stans lol.
Maybe because I got into kpop late when I was already mature enough lol so the concept of fanfics just goes above my head but well. The idea of having someone write things about you using your name with you in their mind is just....like... W H Y. But its such a huge thing so I'm just probably the odd one out here regarding this lol. I wont be surprised if Tao probably still reads them fanfics hahaha. He most probably does lol

Also the concept of idols having to sell the concept of "boyfriends" and do so much of roleplaying and sweet talk- one would definitely get deluded. It brings so much of problems later as we are facing now. And yet SM's perfect worse timing for introducing the bubble chat and our bf exos are back at it again lol. Its all heart fluttering and all but knowing we might have to face all the result of this later....
Zab believe me.. I am also pretty late getting into kpop and according to stan twitter someone my age is considered as a hag.. LOL. I used to also weirded out by real life character fanfics, but I read xiuhan’s legendary fic Supernova just out of curiosity and I was amazed.. I just realized that exo fandom has so many talented writers, lots of fics are very well-written and even better than published novels. I guess I enjoy fanfics purely as entertainment only & fantasy.. I like their concept of romance and with real life ppl as the characters, I can easily imagine the face & their dynamic. But yeah.. it’s not everybody’s cup of tea.
Well... hunhan shippers used to be the craziest.. they are keeping it low now coz luhan already has a gf (altho when luhan publicly introduced her, there was an outrage in weibo, and that poor girl still get hate till now). But imo the craziest now is chanbaek shippers.. Their delusion is out of this world. And you bet they hatin every boy/girl that get close to chan or baek. I still remember how they made Mackenyu changed his Ig caption or flooding Yura’s comment section with chanbaek’s related theory.. I can’t imagine if baek or chanyeol has a gf or get married. Chen is a bit ‘lucky’ coz his main pairing is with minseok.. and xiuchen is always pretty mild.. and even chen and his wife receive so many hate. Can’t imagine what would happen with baekhyun n chanyeol’s partner.. and now with the exo ‘boyfriend’ concept in bubble. Goosebumps..

Ikrr I can't even imagine that for now. ChanBaek stans are next next level delusional sometimes I feel like banging my head on the wall lol. Even now, alot of hate is coming from other member's stans as they think its somehow "ruining" it for the rest of the exos which really goes above my head but well.. I sometimes reallyy want exos to be open about boundaries and correct the fandom but seeing the bubble chat now, I don't think that's going to happen ever. After all, SM makes money off them because of that concept as it is really the whole concept regarding most kpop boy groups which I don't think is going to change any sooner. It just hurts seeing them get hurt and be hated on for something that is supposed to be a private, happy moment for them.
