Very much looking forward to the books release! Looks like a great read :) Thanks for this concise review Richard and for showing your collection of Shire books (some very intriguing titles there!)
Richard H., Thank you for reviewing & sharing books on mudlarking. This review packed with information... just as if you were instructing us on pottery :) My best to you and your Family.
just received it for Christmas! can't wait to get started now that the busyness of the holidays is over. Thanks for the promotion of the book and giving us a taste of what's inside.
Hi Richard! I hope this note finds you well. Thank you for the review and a sneak peak inside the book--that always helps online purchase decisions! I hope they ease up the restrictions soon so you can get back to the Foreshore. Take care!
Very nice, thank you for sharing! I wonder if any mudlarkers have ever decided to swap pieces in order to reunite pieces and create a whole piece of pottery or almost whole piece. It’s sort of like a puzzle, right? Okay, I’m a dreamer, lol.
Thank you Richard, I was thinking of getting this anyway and your excellent review has clinched the decision! Hope you are safe and well, best wishes.

My friend bought this book for my birthday and it’s definitely been the thing to read since lockdown
I was pleasantly surprised how engaging the book is even if you’re not a mudlark.

Hi Debs, it's very rare that you can match a piece but it has happened a couple of times with an obvious decoration.
I devoured this book in one sitting,it was that good.
It was my first mudlarking read.
I know whose hands that is on the cover!
It’s Si,isn’t it??
His autograph looks a bit like Donald Trumps autograph.... :-)
