Very cool. It seems very efficient running similar to a deadbeat escapement. The impulse can be positioned to operate near the center of the cycle so the period should be relatively immune to the driving weight. I am eager to see a clock designed around this escapement.
I recently learned of analemma and now I'm wondering if folk like Harrison spent their time trying to get their clocks running right against a moving target.
THIS IS SIIMLY SUPERB FOR MY CHILDRENS THANKS LOT :)

Well, that couldn't be much simpler! Great job:) "If you give me more time it will be even better... it will only require half the parts!" :)
Thats cool... simplicity is the mark of genius.
elegant design
brilliant, thanks.
beautiful!

Cool!
👍👍👍
Fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Are there files available to make this?
sorry, no seperate files, it was made as a prototype for Coup Perdu clock

Nope, Harrison knew about the equation of time too.
@@donaldasayers Thanks for the reply. I've heard of the equation of time - i'll have to google it.
@@hermitoldguy6312 Basically it accounts for the difference between mean solar time and time as indicated by the sun on it's position on the analemma.
