There’re lots of good parts on the circuit board if you’re interested in electronics. You can find a SPI flash, a microcontroller, voltage regulators, MOSFETs, and lots of passive parts. Also those motors are super precise. Also the magnetic coil in the platter reading head is super precise.

At the tip of the swingarm there is a metal (forgot the name of it) worth 235 dollers pr gram. Hope you saved them .
