New babies and holidays leave no time for much else...lol. For me, I think of my room as my sanctuary. That is where I want to be the most comfortable, sleep, do my beauty routines, etc. It's my stress free zone. So, I make it a priority above the rest of the house. By doing that I find myself much more relaxed abd refreshed in my room.

Girl, we would all struggle if there is a new baby and a bunch of weird schedule changes during the holidays. You are not alone. Being good to your husband and your kids always comes first, and if things get a little messy, then they get a little messy. You are an excellent mom, wife, and home maker. You are just really overwhelmed right now. I'm not a mom, but I am a wife and a home maker and I work full time. It gets overwhelming sometimes. You are doing a great job! Your kids aren't going to remember that pile of laundry that was on the floor that one time, but they will remember how much their momma loves them and took care of them and spent time with them. We can tell just by watching your videos how much love is in your home. That's what matters. You are doing great.

I felt this to my core! I have 6&3 year old boys I feel like I am always trying to play catch up or theirs a new break from school and my oldest schedule gets thrown off. So if he has a break of any kind he’s allowed one extra hour before bed. I have a basket in my room for socks and it collects everything but socks clothes towels the works. So taking care of kids trying to be a good mom, a good wife, and keeping your home in order is a full time time plus working graveyard shift it’s hard. You’re doing great mama!
I’m glad you’re cracking the windows and letting the rooms air out when you clean with bleach. My SIL’s grandmother developed COPD and passed away from years of cleaning everything with bleach and inhaling the fumes. 😢
I was cracking up when your dog walked through right after you swept because girl same. I love that you're just going with it and trying to not let it stress you out. You're a great mom, wife and homemaker! I think most of us watch you for inspiration because you do such a great job! If you have the money I would really be buying a new vacuum esp since you have pets. The bissel powerforce is the type I like and they are usually around 70-100 dollars. I also have pets and sweeping the carpet definitely does pick up a lot of hair, but it does not pick up the deep down dead skin, dust mites, dog and cat dander etc. Even my cordless vacuum does NOT do as good a job as my bissel powerforce does. Since baby Evan is spending so much time on the floor and he will be crawling in no time I would definitely invest in a vacuum that plugs in. They work great on area rugs too. I would hate for yall to start feeling allergies when you don't need to. Love ya Kayla!! You really are a star!
🐾🐾hi, if you can have a bucket to wash paws in outside, that makes a huge difference! Keep beach towels to let them run around on after, on your patio. While they're playing with u after paw washing, their drying their paws too. 🤣💞

Long time viewer here.... SO much love in this home :) Definitely my motivation :) I've always loved the idea of a mobile home... I think she has shown us how TLC can make them so warm and inviting... I remember back when her style was more browns and maroons.. it still was beautiful ! and even more some now!
There is a little tool that you can find on AMAZON I think it's called a carpet rake that you can use on the carpets without using much elbow grease at all! It picks up everything stuck in your carpet & is actually pretty satisfying to see all of the junk that was blended in the rugs. I HIGHLY recommend to pick one up to make your cleaning routine that much easier...

Girl I’m with you! My little one is 3 months and my oldest 2 are both in grade school in multiple sports each! On top of that my husbands new job is swing shift so his schedule changes every 2 weeks so my schedule has to change as well! I just keep saying to myself it won’t be like this forever 😅 I definitely needed this motivation to clean our bedroom! It’s become the catch all for all the babies things

I have an 8 year old and a 3 year old,both boys and I’ve definitely noticed it’s a lot harder finding time to deep clean and declutter everything with both of them home and awake lol. Usually have to wait until my oldest is at school or my youngest is napping to get anything done 😅
this was SO satisfying to watch, cleaning videos are my fav! & being i’m so OCD myself & was raised by my mama to keep my house constantly cleaned/picked up, it makes me feel better to know i’m not the only one that needs things organized & cleaned to feel at peace lol but i also struggle w/ making sure it’s kept up every single day like i used to just bc mom life is literally go go go, non stop! & bleach is my fav cleaning product to use too if my house doesn’t smell like bleach + fabuloso once i’m done it doesn’t feel clean to me 🤣

For the dogs' paws, I suggest getting a paw washer. I finally got one and it has made the rainy season cleaning so much easier, and it takes less time than wiping their paws with a rag

I definitely needed that bedroom cleaning motivation! My bedroom has been getting out of hand and I keep using it to store things as I rearrange the rest of my house. Also, just a suggestion, chairs that have wheels can scratch up the floors so you may consider getting a rug or clear mat for hard floors to put underneath it. Before I moved in with my husband, he and his roommates all had gaming chairs and they scratched up the new floors really bad. You keep your floors very clean so you may not have the same issue. But just a thought.

I don’t use a top sheet either. I can’t stand when they wrap around my legs. I actually buy individual pieces instead of sheet sets so I don’t have a bunch of top sheets in the linen closet.
Hey Kayyylaaa!!! So glad to see your doing so well! I'm catching up on some of your videos but I was thinking could you make a video related to organizing and managing your space. You and I both have a family of four now and I gotta be honest I'm about to throw everything away... its so jam packed in my house its making me crazy! Space at my house shouldn't be a problem because we have a 4 bedroom and its massive but we are out growing this home and I can't seem to come up with a good "get rid of" routine and its been hard letting things go when they are still in good shape or being used periodically. I feel like you could enlighten us all when it comes to your storage management and standards to throw away, donate, or keep stuff. Just an idea! We love you God Bless you guys!
I feel you on the school breaks. They are killing me this year. And where we live viruses are going around like crazy…. I think my kids have been home more than they’ve been in school!! 😩 I get nothing done lol
I admire how clean you keep your house. From a grandma and someone who owned my own cleaning business for over 25 years, the broom will not bring up dust mites. You need a very good vacuum with a HEPA filter. Invest in a good vacuum and you will never need to use a broom to get hairs off carpeting. (Not you sweetie you have cleaning under control!)...But I can never understand why people spend hundreds to go out to dinner, entertainments, etc. yet not invest in a Dyson or Shark vacuum. Life can be so much easier .
Could you please link what blankets you bought for your couches? We have 3 dogs and could really use those size for our couch that is sized like that. You really work hard to keep a beautiful home!❤️
You always do a great job maintaining your home. Your dogs are so cute, I board dogs in my home and the mud is no fun, I wish the ground would just freeze! Amazon sells a Hoover wind tunnel vacuum for a little under $200 ~ I have the bagged kind because I don't like emptying that dusty bin that comes on the bag less kind. Anyways if you decide to splurge on a new vacuum I would recommend it. Thanks for the cleaning motivation!

My room is always the last to be cleaned. It’s never too messy, I just always do my son’s room and the rest of the house before I get to our room.

I definitely needed that bedroom cleaning motivation! My bedroom has been getting out of hand and I keep using it to store things as I rearrange the rest of my house. Also, just a suggestion, chairs that have wheels can scratch up the floors so you may consider getting a rug or clear mat for hard floors to put underneath it. Before I moved in with my husband, he and his roommates all had gaming chairs and they scratched up the new floors really bad. You keep your floors very clean so you may not have the same issue. But just a thought.

I don’t use a top sheet either. I can’t stand when they wrap around my legs. I actually buy individual pieces instead of sheet sets so I don’t have a bunch of top sheets in the linen closet.
Hey Kayyylaaa!!! So glad to see your doing so well! I'm catching up on some of your videos but I was thinking could you make a video related to organizing and managing your space. You and I both have a family of four now and I gotta be honest I'm about to throw everything away... its so jam packed in my house its making me crazy! Space at my house shouldn't be a problem because we have a 4 bedroom and its massive but we are out growing this home and I can't seem to come up with a good "get rid of" routine and its been hard letting things go when they are still in good shape or being used periodically. I feel like you could enlighten us all when it comes to your storage management and standards to throw away, donate, or keep stuff. Just an idea! We love you God Bless you guys!

I admire how clean you keep your house. From a grandma and someone who owned my own cleaning business for over 25 years, the broom will not bring up dust mites. You need a very good vacuum with a HEPA filter. Invest in a good vacuum and you will never need to use a broom to get hairs off carpeting. (Not you sweetie you have cleaning under control!)...But I can never understand why people spend hundreds to go out to dinner, entertainments, etc. yet not invest in a Dyson or Shark vacuum. Life can be so much easier .
Newborns make it rough for awhile...but its such a short time! It'll fly by and get easier for everyone to have their schedules

You always do a great job maintaining your home. Your dogs are so cute, I board dogs in my home and the mud is no fun, I wish the ground would just freeze! Amazon sells a Hoover wind tunnel vacuum for a little under $200 ~ I have the bagged kind because I don't like emptying that dusty bin that comes on the bag less kind. Anyways if you decide to splurge on a new vacuum I would recommend it. Thanks for the cleaning motivation!
