Good morning Marie and friends. I had to miss the live today because of a commitment, but was able to catch it shortly after it ended. The project I’m working on today is one I started a couple of years ago and had to be put aside to make room for things I needed to make for gifts. I’m looking forward to putting the finishing touches on it and putting it on the Facebook page. Like you, Marie, I have been spending a lot of time organizing and getting rid of things I no longer need or want. It’s been a daunting task, but the rewards are worth it. Most of what I have been going through are donation items. One thing that makes it easier for me when gathering things up for donating is thinking that another person will be able to enjoy it and need it more than I do. I’m anxious to get the majority of this project finished by the time colder weather hits, because so much I’m going through is in my garage. I’m hoping with my efforts, I will have more time for creating beautiful things with my sewing machine and working on a few other crafts I enjoy doing.
Hi Marie, sadly no notifications I was literally waiting for you. Hope you have a delightful day. I have a few current projects at hand. A strawberry quilt and a few smaller projects. They are ask on hold as my Singer quantum is on the fritz. Rather bothersome I can tell you to be polite. Tho, I'd love the fabric to kick off getting started again when she's up and running, soon!
I have tons of projects going on. I am writing quilt patterns so I always need fabric to test those patterns. I loved your notebook cover tutorial and hope to get a bunch of them made up soon.
Hi Marie! I’ve been trying a new project called slow stitching. I can do it in the evening while watching television. It uses up scrappy pieces of fabric!
Yay!!! I finally finished the 10th quilt top project for my best friend -- which only leaves 2 more. 😀I think I"m becoming addicted to using men's shirts as fabric for these quilt tops, but I confess I'll be glad when the last of this series is finished. I enjoyed catching this live...the first one I've been able to catch for some time.
I have a project that going that I started in the spring and haven’t touched it all summer. We have been busy working outdoors while the weather is good. It’s a OSU quilt for the husband for Christmas. The fabric is awesome. I know he will love it!
Hi Marie!!! Caught the replay... Loved your newest tutorial!! My current project is a quilt of Christmas stockings made with Lori Holt's new holiday fabric!!
Hi Miss Ellen! I featured your channel this week as my "Spotlight Channel of the Week". So, during the live, I talked for a minute about your channel and we drop a link in the chat. Also, your name and link are in the description box and will remain there until I reach 5,000 words and it "drops off", lol. Thanks for all you do!
Marie, I’m sorry I missed your live. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital but I’m out now and catching up on my TH-cam videos! I have a project or two that I have waiting for me when I’m feeling better! I can’t wait to get back to my sewing room and all my beautiful fabric!❤
OMGosh!!! I forgot today is Wednesday!!! All. day. long! 🎼🎵if I only had a brain…🎶🎵🎶 You’ve forgotten I’ve 2 left feet (& a floppy right hand!) Blinking sign is very nice! ❤😊
