I have the original blazers, one from 77, and another from 78. Both have amazing quality that nike would never ever make again. The 78 has the rubber toe cap while the 77 is what every nike blazer now has been made to refer to. Comfort is much better, rubber foam insole and is glued to a fiberboard and the collar material is very soft and flexible unlike the stiff collar the modern blazers make nowadays. Even the leather is thick cut and is very high quality.

Dope video, I can remember rocking my first pair of blazers back in high school in 1974 or 1975(yes, I am that old...lol). I can also remember paying only about $35.00 for them. Times change. But I'm glad that the blazer is relatively the same shoe as it was back then. I still have a couple of newer pairs that I can rock casually. Thanks for another entertaining video!
I ended up buying a pair and they arrived today. I love them. Classic with a twist. Weartesters is always on point with their details and shoe history. Everything I have in hand is what they described which is a big part of why I love this channel.

Unexpected review! I know you prefer lows but I think this model in particular, looks better in the mid version- more suits the jumbo swoosh and deconstructed elements. Anyhow, always great to be able to pick up a pair at your leisure for retail (or 50% off in the sale like I got mine!) 👌🏼

Jumbo lows look better in my opinion. I’m not a big fan of the highs, tho all my students wear them. Saving my pennies for a few of the other Jordan drops this year beginning with the J5 Racer Blues.
Since I saw Blazers Mid 77 I instantly fell in love, I bought them at the start of this year and I’m looking for a new pair, I am thinking about this Low Jumbo sign model and them again.

First off….that’s dope that those kids are showing love like that to other kids kicks. ❤️ These Blazers are pretty dope….I like em. LOVE that they automatically came with fat laces and not regular ones. I got a pair of Bruin React SBs recently and replaced them with fat laces……which honestly automatically aged myself 🤣🤷🏽♂️
Just ordered a pair online and I'm hoping you're wrong on the sizing being true-to-size. I've previously owned one other blazer and my true size of 12 was like a damn boat. Lol. They ran big af. Then exchanged for an 11.5 and they were still too lengthy, albeit not very wide. So this go around, I went a full size down. Let's see. 🤷♂️ Appreciate you making the video. Proud supporter of you!
I owned about 4 pairs of blazers. 1 77 white/bone, 1 Sb premium jewl, one mid se and a low Sb x nba. This pair is a bit much for me but it’s totally fine for people to like what they like.

They'll throw the Jumbo swoosh on because it's "heritage" to the shoe. But when it comes to an Air Jordan 1 Retro, they put on these tiny little swooshes when they should be much bigger. Gotta love inconsistency from one of the biggest sneaker companies ever.

great video as always. love this shoe but keep missing the online releases. not released yet on nike. the mid jumbo has the enlarged herringbone sole on them. Those are kinda dope but I like these better.

Yeah I copped these. And Nike actually accidentally send me 2 pairs. I guess they are sorry from all the Al’s on the sneaker app. Gonna rocks ones till I beat them up and then use the clean pair.
I'm actually done with the low quality Nike produces; outside of premium releases they completely fell off in my opinion... I'm moving over to New Balance. Even the Adidas Response CL is better quality for £90 😮💨

Any thoughts on what size I should buy for these Blazer Jumbo’s? Thanks in advance.
If that swoosh wasn’t so huge, the font on the back will look better as a result too, would be much more wearable. Would prefer a thinner sole, got some sacai blazers and regret that purchase so much lol

The jumbos are 🔥🔥… what i dont like about the blazer lows are they look flat and long-ish… but this one looks chunkier and more in proportion

I like the highs but i cannot stand the ‘jumbo traction’ on the outsole. That ruins the highs for me.
The outsole and that weird half sock collar ruin the highs for me.

Well, I’ve just bought a pair of size 13 & 14 sneakers and I’ll just send back the one that doesn’t fit. Looking forward to seeing them next week.
