I learned this as the lemon peel stitch. I am currently making a baby blanket in it with the color jelly beans. I will put either a. Ruffle or shell around the blanket.
This is a nice and easy pattern. Thank you for reminding me where to place my stitch markers. I like mixing colors in a blanket. But weaving in ends is not fun at all. This will help not having a ton of ends. 😊
@@AmandaCrochets your welcome. I’m getting ready to start the candy stripes blanket. I think that’s the name. Do you think I could carry the yarn up the side on that one. I really liked how you did that on this blanket. Thank you.
@@Lisa..4 yes I believe you can. The carried yarn might be a little longer if you plan on using more color changes, but the concept should be the same. 😊
In your written pattern you sc the entire first row and on this video you do the griddle stitch immediately after your odd number of chains. A bit confusing, can you say which is it or does it matter? Thank you! It is a beautiful blanket and I want to try it!
Very lovely. Beaut stitch and gorgeous colour combo too.

Thank you!
Gorgeous baby blanket! Love the griddle stitch. Thank you for another great, easy-to-understand, beginner-friendly blanket tutorial!😁

Thank you for explaining so fully. Sometimes I'm "big chief/red crayon" which means explain like I'm 3! I appreciate it. Haa
Haha you’re very welcome and glad I could help 😊🧶

Thanks for letting me know! I will change this now. The video tutorial is correct, the written pattern is not.
