I prefer long content! I’m not into shorts. I might watch a few on occasion, but I mainly watch regular videos. Also, your hair turned out lovely! However, I would skip the blow drying step and just do the hot rollers when my hair is 100% dry. But that’s because I wash my hair at night so it would be dry by morning for the hot rollers.

I also love that you address the guilt/shaming of curly girls who like a big blowout. I have 2c/3a curls on fine high porosity, medium/low density hair. Volume looks great on me but my hair just doesn’t have it. Big voluminous blowouts are a huge treat for me!

I hear the same all the time. But they don't know what high maintenance curly hair is. I oil my hair once a week and sleep with it on overnight. Then get into the shower wash out the oil then do a deep conditioner for about 30min. Then back in the shower to rinse it out. I kid you not this entire process takes me 4 hrs. But I only do this again in 9 days. But refresh every morning. It's freaking hard work and time consuming
India, I have thought so many times "this girl is walking in God's plan for her life" since I started watching your TH-cam channel. I've been watching for years and before I found your channel I felt so low and so down on myself. I struggled so much with my self esteem. It truly and deeply took away from my quality of life. You helped lift me up and see the beauty world for what it really is. It's not about having the perfect skin or the perfect hair or the perfect outfit. It's about putting in the effort to do what makes you feel beautiful and then moving on with your day. There are so many broken and hurting people in the world and while it's fun to be girly and feel beautiful; like you said, "it's not that serious". TH-cam is what I primarily watch but I agree that sometimes shorts are just easier to watch. Also as someone with wavy hair, I alternate between wavy and straight hair every wash day because I love the wavy and sometimes curly bits in my hair but having it straight is just more comfortable and less maintainance so if people want to do something different with their hair, they can because it is theirs. In my opinion we don't need to be tied down to one hairstyle so I think it's very cool that you did a video on blowouts and changing up your hair from time to time. Love you and your videos!
Random, but I appreciate that you didn't clean your Revlon blowout brush before this tutorial, so relatable lol! And I agree on TH-cam. I prefer watching it especially if I want to look something up. It's much easier to educate people via TH-cam in my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️
We have versatile hair and nothing wrong with enjoying it in every state. I just gave myself a blowout with flat iron waves last night! Coloured my hair pink and I think it looks better blown out. Every second month or so I blow out my hair because I do get bored and sometimes frustrated with the natural curls. It helps me enjoy my curls again when I do revert.

I have 2 b/c waves when styled and I love doing a blow out with the Revlon styler. I can even do it on dry hair sometimes. It makes me feel like a model and of course because I take such good care of my hair , when I blow it out it is so soft and shiny.

So I've gotten a cut to help with wearing it straighter. It's a hard transition for me because I enjoy my curls, but this is so much easier. Have you ever tried Velcro rollers? We have veryyyy similar natural textures and I get highlights as well. I love using the revlon blow dryer and setting each section on a Velcro roller as I go. Let them sit for as long as possible. And it’s the best blow out ever for me. Velcro rollers typically make my hair too curly again because of the additional heat lol Love your TH-cam content and listening to you in a relatable way☺️

I'm so glad this worked out for you, and it's wonderful to see a long video again. I have hair very much like yours and I tried to Revlon brush ~ used heat protectant, etc ~ but after a couple months of using it once a week or so, it started falling out at the roots! My stylist said my scalp was probably too sensitive to the pulling. So, now after about half a year of babying my hair, I'm back to a full head of curly/wavy hair. Your blow out looks fabulous! I also have a set of hot rollers that I keep for special occasions! God bless!

I don’t think anything is wrong with changing up your hairstyle from time to time, you looked amazing. I like longer content I like feeling more personal with TH-camrs than getting fast content but that’s the kind of person I am.
I go on TikTok for fun. I go on TH-cam to learn. I love my hot rollers too! I have 3 sets all in different sizes. My hair is almost as wavy as yours. I never blow dry. I always shower at night and air dry on wash days. I use a leave in heat protection cream after. Next day brush out my frizzy wavy hair with a little shine oil then put in hot rollers. Take out. Tousle. A little hairspray and done. The rollers do all the work of smoothing and taming the frizz and it’s so quick this way! 😊

I like both long and short videos. I find myself watching more of the short ones lately. I also hot roll my hair. I have always used of clips with the straight part on the other side your hair looks so gorgeous and healthy. It’s so beautiful it’s fun to mix it up.❤❤❤
I’m lazy with my hair having little kids and a baby wash and go’s and braid outs are easy and I’m not great at using hot tools, but I have a blowout brush, so maybe I need some hot curlers too. I love the volume it gave you! I prefer TH-cam, I like the longer and more personable videos. They’re part of my me time or something to watch/listen to when I’m doing chores.

I love it! I think it’s fun to switch it up now and then because life’s too short! I have the Revlon One Step Styler and I don’t use it very often because I don’t have the products to blow my hair out. I only have a heat protectant spray. I’m a low budget gal so any suggestions would be great!

I enjoy both. I do like the more personal aspect of TH-cam. If anything it helps earn trust and I think someone is more likely to buy an influencer recommended products if someone feels like they know that person.
I really hope you don’t switch to TikTok! I’ve seen a lot of people discussing this on TH-cam and honestly short form content is not what people need. It will just give them more instant gratification! I personally love long form content, that’s why I come to TH-cam and not TikTok. I get much more excited for a full length video than a short. And the fact that with shorts people have to sometimes speak really quickly to get their point across kind of inhibits our ability as viewers to connect with them. Long form is like having a regular conversation and you get to know content creators well that way.

I am NOT a TikTok person OR a “shorts” person AT. ALL. I very much prefer longer videos and getting allllll the information and getting to know the person I’m watching. To me I kind of literally actually kinda hate TikTok’s! AND…I’m currently wearing my own 2B/2C waves straightened too. I got bored! I love that Revlon tool too! Loving the silky and being able to run my fingers through my hair.😊 I also did the Brad Mondo butterfly cut on myself and it came out AWESOME. I like both, I usually go for the quick ones and shorts unless I want to see something I haven’t tried before then I like to watch a proper tutorial, I do like the fact also I feel I no the person in the tutorial, I tend to search what I’m looking for and click a person ‘I no’ hope that makes sense and you should never be made to feel guilty changing your hair up ❤
I enjoy TH-cam/longer videos, I hardly ever watch Tik tok, but if you are worried that the content world is shifting then take your longer videos like this one & turn it into a tik tok so you still have TH-cam and are shifting with what others may want. I go on TikTok for fun. I go on TH-cam to learn. I love my hot rollers too! I have 3 sets all in different sizes. My hair is almost as wavy as yours. I never blow dry. I always shower at night and air dry on wash days. I use a leave in heat protection cream after. Next day brush out my frizzy wavy hair with a little shine oil then put in hot rollers. Take out. Tousle. A little hairspray and done. The rollers do all the work of smoothing and taming the frizz and it’s so quick this way! 😊

I like both long and short videos. I find myself watching more of the short ones lately. I also hot roll my hair. I have always used of clips with the straight part on the other side your hair looks so gorgeous and healthy. It’s so beautiful it’s fun to mix it up.❤❤❤

I’m lazy with my hair having little kids and a baby wash and go’s and braid outs are easy and I’m not great at using hot tools, but I have a blowout brush, so maybe I need some hot curlers too. I love the volume it gave you! I prefer TH-cam, I like the longer and more personable videos. They’re part of my me time or something to watch/listen to when I’m doing chores.

But to your question, I don't even have or watch tik tok. And honestly, I rarely bother with the TH-cam shorts. They're usually too quick & unsatisfying to me. I just wait for the longer videos. I'm obsessed with TH-cam & feel like videos between around 15 to 25 minutes are the sweet spot. More satisfying to me. Just an fyi. I love it! I think it’s fun to switch it up now and then because life’s too short! I have the Revlon One Step Styler and I don’t use it very often because I don’t have the products to blow my hair out. I only have a heat protectant spray. I’m a low budget gal so any suggestions would be great!

I enjoy both. I do like the more personal aspect of TH-cam. If anything it helps earn trust and I think someone is more likely to buy an influencer recommended products if someone feels like they know that person.
I really hope you don’t switch to TikTok! I’ve seen a lot of people discussing this on TH-cam and honestly short form content is not what people need. It will just give them more instant gratification! I personally love long form content, that’s why I come to TH-cam and not TikTok. I get much more excited for a full length video than a short. And the fact that with shorts people have to sometimes speak really quickly to get their point across kind of inhibits our ability as viewers to connect with them. Long form is like having a regular conversation and you get to know content creators well that way.

I am NOT a TikTok person OR a “shorts” person AT. ALL. I very much prefer longer videos and getting allllll the information and getting to know the person I’m watching. To me I kind of literally actually kinda hate TikTok’s! AND…I’m currently wearing my own 2B/2C waves straightened too. I got bored! I love that Revlon tool too! Loving the silky and being able to run my fingers through my hair.😊 I also did the Brad Mondo butterfly cut on myself and it came out AWESOME. Can’t wait to see how it looks when I wear my gelato wavy again, but for right now, I’m loving the straight! Thanks for doing this! 😘

I like both, I usually go for the quick ones and shorts unless I want to see something I haven’t tried before then I like to watch a proper tutorial, I do like the fact also I feel I no the person in the tutorial, I tend to search what I’m looking for and click a person ‘I no’ hope that makes sense and you should never be made to feel guilty changing your hair up ❤

I enjoy TH-cam/longer videos, I hardly ever watch Tik tok, but if you are worried that the content world is shifting then take your longer videos like this one & turn it into a tik tok so you still have TH-cam and are shifting with what others may want. I love TH-cam. I’m 33 and have no business on TikTok, maybe it’s just me but I just don’t care for social media in general. I like to have control over my life and where I spend my time. However TH-cam has been apart of my life since my early 20s and I’m still here for it. 🎉 I love the people Ive followed over the years… feels like I’ve grown up with a lot of virtual friends ❤
