Of course old school doesn't mean it's good. But lots of these "transversal" movements are great for healthy joints, transfer to sports and real life, etc. I'm not saying it's great, but saying it sure is worth a try to see.
@@MVProfits I can understand your viewpoint, and agree, but personally I would prefer one arm standing press with normal technique instead of this move.
@@MVProfits It's been a favorite of mine for mobility & spiral strength for two decades. If someone isn't getting much out of it they should try the barbell version ;)
I’d rather do this than a Bench press or overhead press. My shoulders and lower back haven’t felt this good in a long time and I haven’t lost any muscle size or strength by prioritizing this move. Plus it’s ironing out a bunch of different muscle imbalances from doing bilateral movements like bench, squat, deadlifts and following modern strength training regimens.
Honestly if it wasn't because it was posted on this channel I would have thought it to be some sort of joke 😂 I had the same reaction seeing steinborn squat or however it's spelled.
It's more beneficial than standing on a bosu ball to do your reps. It's almost as if TH-cam read my mind. I was thinking about this exercise a couple of days ago.
Best bent press guide on TH-cam!
Nice bod! Great symmetry, you don't always see that. Lots of "top" or "bottom" heavy physiques. Your hard work paid off/shows. Thank you for sharing!
Haters, they show progression movements. Great overall strength movement. Everything old is new again
People scared to challenge themselves
yes, just try n see
Man, this requires lot of technical precision. Would take a while to master.
It’s not that bad
They all do, let’s be real. Squats, cleans, and deadlifts all require some practice to do then efficiently.
This is way too technique demanding for me I’m gonna screw my shoulders just watching it and imagining me doing it
Most people, and recreational trainees in particular, really don't need this circus move. Old School doesn't mean that everything they did was smart.

@@farhanhussain_ One arm standing press is a shoulder dominate move. This exercise is shoulder, lats, core, hips and obliques. powerful!
This looks ridiculous
Are You New To Classic Strongman Exercises? This Was Common Lift In The Latter Part Of 19th Century And Early To Mid 20th Century 👌🏿.

It's very fun to do
