with very low settings the gpu will be bottlenecked by the cpu for sure, I've seen tests at 4k and very low settings with 3080 and still 144fps+ , so because the gpu will be limited, the fps wont be anything special, an rtx 3080 at 1080p very low settings should get 300fps+ at all times in pubg but it doesn't cus it's limited by the cpu
I will do other maps aswell , I think I've seen 120's .. but I only play at ultra settings cus it looks nice, If you play at very low settings there will be a bottleneck for sure even tho I have 10900k running at 4.9ghz, RTX 3080 is too strong , I've seen tests at 2K ultra in PUBG and people still get over 144 with this setup, If you want 99% gpu utilization you have to play at 2K!!
@@MrWorldWide37 I have an rtx 2080, i9 9900k (5ghz) and 4200mhz ram running 2k. I've tested for hours using various settings and I also came to the conclusion that I'm CPU bottlenecked. I've seen my fps drop as low as 77 or so in place like Los Leones on the Miramar map. Your minimum FPS do seem alot higher than mine. I'm currently waiting on an rtx 3080 but supply is short. I would buy a 10900k if it will definitely help my minimum FPS. Is there any chance you can post a video dropping at Los Leones? Also if you could post more clips of dropping at similar cpu taxing places on maps that would be great.
I personally play with only high textured and everything else very low, do you think I’d get 240 stable at those settings with the 3080? I could wait for the 4080 too but idk man
Tbh I think most people are cpu and ram limited , currently I have an i9 12900k and 32gb 6400mhz ddr5 , paired with a gtx 980 that I bought used .. cus Im waiting for RTX 4000 series , and Im getting 200 fps or more in PUBG .. at very low settings ofc.
When you play at 1080p and very low settings , you need a beast of a cpu paired with the fastest ram available so that you can get the most out of the gpu
I have 32Gb of memory but pubg only uses less than 4000Mb, I don't know why. Before starting the game, I have about 25 Gb of free memory, and zero use of it.
@@MrWorldWide37 I noticed that pubg uses a minimum of 9000Mb of system memory for you, half as much for me and I don't understand why. Microstutter in the game is the norm for me.
Cus its being bottlenecked , if you play at 4k ultra settings or 1080p ultra , u'll notice that you have the same frames , cus at 1080p the gpu is not working to its max while at 4k it is, i saw a vid with rtx 3080 at 4k and low settings and the guy had 150fps+
@@mootjemootje1 there is nothing that you can do , if you have a 3090 , you shouldnt be playing at 1080 , get a 4k monitor or play at 2k ultra settings at least.. bottlenecks will always exist as long as gpu's are faster than cpu's ..
Nice video, that so smooth. Im really impatient to get my pc 😄
Hey can you please do some tests also with competitive/very low settings ?
what frames are you getting with everything on very low and can you try run at 5.2 with the 10900k?

That is still the most common way to play. So to answer your question, most people do.
