So golden goblins are important because they drop Quartz and MoR, using Goblin Hunters it pretty much auto collects the golden goblins which you normally have to click on. If you don't purchase the monthly pass for the 3x speed and other rewards then you will want to watch the ads daily. The monthly pass comes with permanent Goblin Hunter as well.
