The old man (the guide) was correct about the Amzigh people as the native people to North Africa, but Chefchawen is an arabized term of Achawen which means horns in Thmazight language. It's not a Spanish name. He is totally wrong about that. We, Rif people, still use the original name Achawen to describe what moroccan regime turned to "chefchawen"
