Day 261 "What Are Strongholds & Do You Have Any?" - Bible in a Year - September 18

Today we'll talk about strongholds and what they are. Depending on your church background, you may have different ideas about what the word means. Could we have strongholds in our own lives? And, if so, how do we deal with them? We’ll also look at the Sovereignty of God and how to be more sensitive and discerning in our personal ministry to friends and family.

If you recognize your sinful condition and want God's help and forgiveness, you might pray something like this:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I can do nothing to save myself. I believe that you came and lived a sinless life, yet you willingly died on the cross as payment for my sins. I also believe that you rose again and are now seated at the right hand of the Father. Lord Jesus, please grant me godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Forgive me, fill me with your Spirit, and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. I ask this in Your name. Amen.
