I like either 7, which matches the teabag 10, which matches the darker papers or 1 which stands out because of the gold. It’s all coming together so beautifully.
I was first drawn towards 1 & 3 but then you whipped the gray wildcard out! I really love how the gray button picked up the deeper tones. I hadn't even noticed the gray in the slashed cover before. It pulls the complete picture together. ❤ I'm team #10!!
For me is 1 or 5. This journal made me think at a soft summer evening, towards the sunset (here are 15 Celsius and raining). Will be so beautiful and delicate!♥♥♥
I like how button #7 adds a lot of interest, but #1 is bringing the main character energy

If you want things to stick to waxed paper, you can paint gesso on the area you want to glue on. I love this cover.

So very beautiful!! Once again you nailed it! The pairing and selection of papers and laces are spot on! So gorgeous and I love how the layers of lace and fabric create a muted rustle sound with the tissue and paper....so perfect! My heart stopped when you were deciding on what to lay over the cover because I adore how the snippet roll looks, but in the end it actually does enhance the look. I am so in love with the laces you chose! I think my favorite is button #7 the amber color is beautiful with a close 2nd being #10. This was such a delight to watch! Oh Wow! I feel your pain. This is the hardest part… making paper choices. I can just imagine how all the fabric, laces and crinkly papers feel. I still love the numbered ages. My FAVORITE!! My choice for the button is #1. I love the color and the gold bit. Can’t wait to see where this Journal takes you. ♥️♥️♥️

Wow! I know your pain. I had to rewind a couple of times to see which one is my favorite. I was picking between 1 or 3. I think #3 is my favorite even though it’s bulky. I think with your journal, a unique different shape button is what the journals needs. Everything about this journal is unique and different. ❤❤❤. I can’t wait to see which one you would pick.
Oh my gosh this is getting more beautiful the more I see it. I get the struggle choosing the signature, I have the same problem with every journal 🤣 Those pearls on the cover were to die for! so sad you decided against them. The buttons too must be a struggle to choose but I liked 3, 5, and 9 but my absolute favourite was number 1. I don't envy you the task of making the decision but as usual you will make it beautiful. thank you for sharing all of this with us. 💗xxx

I thought you had way too many pieces of lace and fabric even before you picked papers but, I was delighted, as you were when you held the bundle in your hand! I is so yummy, and romantic already! My button choice would be #2 or #10, now it just needs some velvet! Really enjoyed the trying-on stage for this lovely project!💕🇨🇦

Fab journal, Barbara. My choice is the final two lace pieces with the pearls or buttons 1, 4 or 5. Simply because they contain complimentary colours without dominating the journal cover.
I think I will go with #4 or #8 sweetie and I love everything about the journal! It is so sweet and delicate and gorgeous and beautiful 😘💞
Barbara you need to make a bigger journal of the same style. I love fabric and textile journals. I think you should do something like that also 💕

Wow. I went outside for a moment, came in and what???? The pearls were gone! I really loved the string of pearls with the thin white cotton lace beneath, no third lace. Lovely page selections. I think 2 signatures, as the butterfly page kept getting narrower 😅! Buttons: #1is my first choice, then #5. Grey button is choice 10😮, sorry, probably does look better than on camera.❤you too!

Button 3 or 6 - also glad you nixed the pearls, they are beautiful but not soft like the rest of the journal. Wonder about a cloth button or a little soft cluster to keep with the softness. Love seeing this project come to life!
