You should put a Dukes of Hazard style dirt road close to the tracks over the bridge and some countryside. You can put a few countryside style buildings over the bridge that way.

Funny you should mention The Dukes of Hazzard... that's my favorite show from the 80s. I still watch it to this day...lol

Suscribed sir! Those tracks look ready to roll some trains! Regards from El Paso TX.

Is there a possibility to continue the road in that middle section by elevating it? It would be nice to be able to join the road structure on both layouts, just as you have with the trains. Maybe the space museum could be extended in some fashion into the more narrow portion of the table alongside one or both of the tracks which could free up some space to elevate the road before it comes in contact with the curved train track.

I have never thought about elevating the roadway. It would be nice to connect them though. I'd have to do some research into how to elevate a road.

What if it was the raised passenger line on the expansion so your road can still fit and go under it and keep the small loop you can fit more city buildings towards the end and you won’t have to negotiate the rail lines.

Hmm.....I like my ground line, but I wouldn't mind having the raised line connected as well.

Continuing the topic of the "fake tunnel" from previous video, could a moveable bridge solve the issue of not having access to the walkway?
Either that, or using one of those skates used by car mechanics... 😁

I'm not sure how I would make a movable bridge... to be honest. I would think that whenever it's moved, everything would fall apart..lol. I suppose if you are gentle with it, it might be ok, but it would probably end up being a pain in the butt in the long run. I don't know though. It's not totally out of the question. We'll just see how things evolve on the new platform.

If you want to keep all the parts in the same room, can you put some under the platform by the windows? I know you can't put them under the bridge between platforms.

Actually I probably could put some under the bridge since I can walk around to get to the other side.

I wasn't planning on it. I'm gonna try to go all original.

No, no.. it's going to be an addition to the city. I'm just getting railroads tracks in first.
