It is used for smaller jungle river crossing Modern military uses river or lake crossing pontoons or boats . but you are using primitive techniques to cross river . Thus river lines . Boats or pontoons are ok but such river line techniques can’t be used for swift and sharp rivers If there is a real war , how many hours will you spend to cross such a river ?
