This issue was fuqqin awesome!! Zhara is cool as hell. I like how they're actually showing the audience she's as skillful as thrawn and tarkin without just saying it or being like "because there's not enough females in the franchise, we're gunna make her amazing from the start, she's gunna be better and more powerful than everyone else, but we're not gunna actually build up her arc, we just don't have the time 2 prove it to u, so your just gunna have 2 trust us on this one." But they actually did her character very well and I loved it, that's how u character build! Can't wait 2 see more of her in the nxt issue! The part where she blew open the glass, shot out of the window and jetpacked thru space 2 the star destroyer, that was dope af! This and the vader series has me so excited 4 more sw!

This comic series is amazing! I don't get why people still hate Canon.
I hate canon AFTER 12 ABY and i dont like canon after return of the jedi, however stories taking place between 0-4aby are better than Luke slapping the hell out of Leia (yes that was a thing)
@@ere15xkmc74 Yeah, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, while interesting, didn't really make much sense if you really think about it. Like how the hell was Luke able to hold his own against Vader with barely any lightsaber training? I get that they were both empowered by that force crystal, or whatever, but how does that improve one's lightsaber skills? That's like when Rey beat Kylo Ren in the Force Awakens. I liked the Canon version of how they met on Cymoon 1 and how Vader just easily knocks him down as it just makes more sense.

This is the 8th Part following ESB, Parts 1-6 were called The Destiny Path. This and Part 7 are The Will Of Tarkin

@@Crackmiser I was confused too, but now everything is clear to me. the scene at 00:38 is just a Flashback. Read the box Up Left: "Coruscant - After Cloud City". This means that the scene happened right after Empire Strikes Back and before both Star Wars and Darth Vader new comics serie. Another proof is the fact that we see the moment in which Zahra is called from vader to hunt down the rebels and in the first issue of this serie we saw her already on the Tarkin's Will.

You never no tarkin hunted vader and stalemated him, so her being his apprentice and successor makes sense to me
If was some random guy I would agree with you but it's tarkin greatest pupil, so makes sense to me
We have no context for these, I highly doubt she just said “1v1 me mate” and fought them, she would’ve studied up, set traps, brought a big gun. And like one is a TaunTaun anyone can get rid of those.
I think that her imperial battle helmet but if it is a (black sweet looking) Mandalorian helmet, I can see her definitely defeating one.

Great issue, but this kinda contradicts the timeline in the Darth Vader series, doesn't it? There Vader
immediately heads off to Tatooine, Vendaxa, Naboo and Polis Massa, and _then_ he meets with the emperor, who tortured him because of his failures...
Any idea how to fix this 😅?

This probably takes place some time after Vader's search and his torture on Mustafa. We'll just have to wait and see.
Next Vader issue I think will come out next year January, hopefully it comes out this sometime in November or in December.
I thought the same but I think this is a couple months into the year between Episodes 5 and 6 whereas Part 6 of the Vader series is like, a couple weeks at the most
