- This brilliant tape of Jayadeva's Gita Govinda was produced by the Krishna Balarama Temple in Bhubaneswar in the early 1990s. Whenever I hear this it makes me think of those amazing days with HDG Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami.
Many versions of Gita Govinda, by different singers I have listened, Gita Govinda, Iskcon Bhubaneswara is the best one.

The Great Bengali Poet *Joydev* , was the court poet of Maharaja Lakshman Sen. Born in Kenduli village of Bengal. He composed the "GeetGovinda".

Jayadev was a sanskrit poet born in Kenduli sashans near puri, Odisha
