The Rhinestone Eyes video never actually being made is the biggest shame in Gorillaz' history. Not only does the storyboard already look like the best Gorillaz video of all, it is also so crucial to the story.
26:06 I have no idea why I find it so funny that 2D survived for MONTHS off the whale carcass but never thought to venture into the “island” to see he was in Mexico given he was only 30 minutes away from a resort. Then again, the guy went through hell even before the whale ate him, so I can’t really blame him for not being completely there.

It's been a dream of mine ever since Metalocalypse for somebody to help produce a show based on the Gorillaz in the same kinda style. There's enough story for multiple seasons worth of show. Each phase could be its own season. They could even go back and include the never finished Rhinestone Eyes video for the show.

This video was really good, I appreciated you pointing out how The Gorillaz Live Band were the pirate guys in the Rhinestone Eyes video, I never knew that but it's really cool and makes sense, I thought the videos with the Gorillaz being trapped in the dressing room was just a joke about them obviously not being able to actually appear in a live show without holograms or something, but no it actually connects to the lore! Really cool stuff
