You can't make some one do something they don't want to do. Randy's exit couldn't be stopped. When Blackie got too controlling he called it quits. Plus he stood in Chris's shadow. I'd quit too under those circumstances.
I heard he was heavily in debt after the tour so he sold his shares in the band to Blackie. Who wanted to go back on guitar. I think Randy said it on Eddie trunk?
Blackie kicked Chris , Randy & Steve out … now WASP blows with blackie the one man band … when I seen them a few times in 1984 they were at the top of their game with the best lineup 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Blackie was like, "So the cover will have ME like this, and the back will have ME like that, and the inside will have ME like so," etc. He said it wasn't feeling like a band anymore. Wow that vocal mic has some delay on it.The drummer is interesting.Huh. I read where Randy and David Wayne(Metal Church) had worked together some. I wish that would've produced a tour and an album. Randy Piper was THE BEST lead guitarist for W.A.S.P. I saw The Last Command show and man it was hellacious. The whole band of course but Randy's sound and style was perfect for them.Combined with Holmes' sound, it was bad ass. Go Randy...Maybe I'll jam with him someday....
Truth is this was my first show using my D600 and a hotshoe mounted mic. I normally shoot stills at shows but wanted to get into some video too. Problem was as I followed diff parts of the performance this close to the stage, the sound would drop off. I learned something from that. Best to just use a tripod and focus in from some distance back. As far as the sound, Piper loved the video and wanted to have the file to see if he can fix it. Him and Craig Church (the other guitarist) fixed that.
I and two metal head friends intercepted Randy walking from the San Diego Ports Arena to a steak house in a neighboring parking lot. Chatted him up till he got near then respecfully broke off the fan stalking manuvers LOL He was cool. Thyere leaving out the G when they go from A to F , almost like playing the easy version of it, however, they jammed it & it sounded good, just that my ears are use to the original version .
I disagree. They need Blackie. It would be awesome to see them share the stage again. With Blackie included. It's the only way to do the song(s) justice. Especially a classic like HELLION.
I dunno. Holmes just doesnt have the merciless craze playing now.
