Those locals probably never met the tourist before. I stayed at the temple for a few years during my boyhood and I learned a lot about meditation until now. Nothing is permanent as you came to this world with barehanded and you go back with nothing. Enjoy it while it's here, Campot Boy!

Hey Chris the cave you guys swam in, was used as an execution site during the Khmer rouges time. They used to clubbed people and throw the bodies in the cave, which is why locals have alters there and also they don’t swim in the cave. Try to see if you can cleanse yourself just to make sure you didn’t offend any spirits there.
Wow that's crazy!! The tour guide explained this is where some of Khmer people would hide. He never mentioned about people being killed there. But that's good to know thanks for the info I'll have to be blessed soon !
