I'll bet NASA has actual 4K or higher cams in space. Thus the question...why do they only release mostly artist renderings of space? And the ones we DO see from the ISS, suddenly have "technical difficulties" when an anomaly comes into frame. Very relaxing video, but now I'm pumped up! lol

Idiot. It takes the days to process a single images they can only send signals in Kbps. Imagine how it'll take for even a 5 second clip in 1080p let alone 4K!

Space is much larger than what you think you know it to be, distances further than you could even comprehend on human scales. Not just you any human. Space is drawn the way it is because that's the only way you would be able to understand. Would you want to see a drawing of the inner planets that's miles long and still not representative of the size? For some reason I doubt you would enjoy that.
What if I showed you a representative scale of the sun vs the Earth and ask you to point out the tiny pea-sized Earth against an extremely bright background caused by an object tens of thousands of times larger? Next time you find yourself standing next to a lighthouse lens take that pea out of your pocket and place it on it and see can you find it again..
You are also leaving the protective veil of the atmosphere, where the exposure rate to radiation is much higher than what you experience on the ground. I don't know if you know that but electronics don't like radiation.
