Thank you so much for this tutorial! They are adorable! I will make these for my granddaughters. I paused to read your wee note, Don't you worry dearie, those who are more concerned with appearances over content are foolish and vain. I just found your video channel and subscribed. I look forward to seeing more of your offerings fuzzy jumper and all! 😝 Peace Love and Blessings
Hi from Northern Ireland ❤️ Not a problem 😊 I'll get to work on that but my crochet skills are pretty basic and self taught so not perfect 🙈 just setting expectations 😅 ❤️
@@sietievdw5404 the product is finished, as is completely sewed together and wearable. The border is a decorative addition, and as I say in the video you can decorate the slippers anyway you want, plus my crochet skills are very basic and self taught so I don't feel confortable showing something that might be incorrect. But anyway as I said in the previous comment I'll do a second video to show how I did the border.
@@beverlyjames1332 I think that would look adorable ❤️ or even a bow if you have a 22 pin you can make it the size of an hair-bow and attach, endless possibilities 😊
I did not have a measuring tool but if I was to resize them.i would go by the length of the feet or search for the avarage length of what ever shoe size you want to make them for so let's say a us size 9 is roughly 9.78 inch so round up to 9 or 9.5 then you might want to do a swatch of your choose yarn to see how many rows would make 1 inch but roughly are about 5 rows to 1 inch so the slipper is a long tub folded in half, so it would be 5 rows x9 inch x 2 = 90 rows in total same if you go smaller, that is how I would do it if I had to make different sizes
these slippers are adult size, I normally don't do items for children as I don't have measurements or Items to compare them with to see that they can fit, so I don't have a set formula to it, but the way I would work it out is this, I would get the length of the the foot that I need to make the slipper for, so let say is 5 inch long from heal to toe, every inch is roughly 5 rows so I would multiply 5 x 5 =25 rows tube this should give you a comfortable fit, consider the yarn that you are using if it has a lot of stretchiness you can reduce the row count to 20 (so you are taking an inch of the length) . Also in this case I might consider using the 40 needle machine as it might be still too big on the sides using the 48 depending how small is the child you want to make the slipper for. I hope this helps
You did a great video for these slippers. Thank you so much.
@@evajohnson3338 aww thank you 😊 ❤️

Gracias, eta divino!!!
Cuuuuute
I have a wide foot and I was wondering if you had a measurement tool to adjust for different sizes of adults and childrens slippers?

What kind of yarn are you using?
I'm using DK yarn can't remember the brand but I get it in homebargains in the UK
Are these ones an adult size or a child size. How many rows do you do for child size, do you have a formula for the size you want to make.

By the way I forgot to say I love your slippers they are lovely and you did a good job of explaining the crochet part of it.
Un pregunta... estos patucos para que numero de pie? Gracias
Based on my size this slipper would fit between a 40 and a 42 European size hope this helps ☺️
What weight yarn did you use? I used 4 weight and recipe doesn’t fit an adult. Good for a toddler. lol you must be using a 3 weight or dk.
Yes that was a DK yarn I used in the video
Glad I'm not the only one whose machine makes horrible noises.
😂 No mine does too, and I think we are not alone, 😉
