Those lizards are used for transportation in the Demon Continent and once they reached that port city that you saw in the end, they don't need it anymore and sold it. I forgot the name but I remember it was a cute name. I think Rudy named it after something from his past world.
This one episode really did a great job of setting up the entirety of the second part of the 1st season. Hell, that opening part alone with paul's letter being worded out over the things that rudy's party was going through is insane. Awesome direction and use of time. The production is just superb. This is the kind of story telling you want to see.

Yes that is Jiraiya's voice actor. The opening theme changes based on their location, so you will be hearing different ones all season. I agree that Mushoku has some great female characters, who will all get some good development as the story progresses.
More like he cares about the people he knows, views them as people, but other aspects of the world he's yet to think deep in his heart is "real". Even himself.
Well those who know and follow or read the light novel know that jobless reincarnation is just a foundation for the real story to come the writer first wrote it first for the convenience of the main plot that is to come because if he didn't do that it would be too hard to understand so therefore Rudeus story is there to make the settings for what's to come Rudeus story was of a jobless broken person who gave up on life and how after getting reincarnated to another world he changed and grown as a person and what's changes his existence cause in that world (i will not give spoilers) but as saying this was never the main story because the main story is just to come and i can be damn sure it gonna be lit but I guess it will take a long long time to animate
Yea mushoku tensei is gonna be a long running series with many ova's and probably movies. There is so much to explore and S1 was just setting the tone with sprinkles of the "main" story yet to come
The red cobra was actually dodging Rudeus' bullets, its mentioned offhandedly on the novels, but monsters that fast are pretty abundant on the demon continent, and the countries are not even adjacent to each other due to the monster zones, but they managed to cross the continent in one year, when the usual is three I wish they had included Eris' pervy moments towards Rudeus, when Eris complained about Rudeus sniffing her clothes for laundry, she got laundry duty instead, so no man got her clothes, but then she was the one sniffing Rudeus' clothes, he had even told Ruijerd not to stop Eris prom peeking when Rudeus is bathing And Rudeus is always practicing his magic, but its all on the background, those figurines he makes, as well as the tableware and cookware for daily use, are made with the same spell as the rock bullet he always fires BTW, his new robe is made of the hide of grey rats, Roxy got a similar one when she began adventuring, s its a local specialty of the same are they travelled
Rudeus' little hand shaking Ruijerds huge hands, that just looks like a father holding the hand of his infant son. But in a way Ruijerd is like the big brother you wish you had, I bet it's the same for ya'll.
Rudy was legitimately so done with everything that he was actually going to drop a hurricane on the city. If you’ve ever had a service job you can relate super hard too.
Back to back. Must be getting better for you. One thing that I appreciate is that Mushoku has a really nice mix of Slice of Life and action. Most entertainment is one or the other. Edit: yes, you're supposed to feel uncomfortable when Rudy is a little perv. You're also supposed to feel uncomfortable when someone dies because Rudy made a bad choice or when Paul cheats or when you first meet Eris and she's a spoiled violent brat. Honestly, for me at least, the bad moments make growth and success feel even better.

"Sometime i feel he really consider it as a game, too much" Bingo. Not the first time it happened by the way. Remember the shock when Eris got kidnapped and a dude died? It's not just the shock of see somebody dying. It's the shock of someone who basically lived the last years like in a videogame/light novel, and suddenly realize that it's maybe a world of sword and magic, but it's a real world anyway. Foe don't disapear and leave loot, they suffer and die. And you can't play with the QTE to get the best ending because if you fail one, there is no save point to return.
It absolutely is supposed to be uncomfortable. The whole story is really a character piece, watching Rudeus develop, overcome his trauma, and all the habits and personality he gained as a result of that trauma. Despite the debauchery, this is actually a quite wholesome story. A big thing to remember, at this point, though Rudy has had a continuity of consciousness of about 46-47 years, his social development basically ground to a halt at around 16 in his first life. What influenced him after that point was skeevy anime, manga, and games, as well as well meaning but enabling parents.
That is a point many don't understand. Thank you for pointing it out. Most are disgusted, because the 40+ years old liking Eris here, but if you have a trauma like him your mental developement slows down and if you hole up in you room and stop socializing this gets even worse. I wouldn't say, he stop growing at that point, but I would say his mental age/maturity when he died in his first life was like 20-25 Years at most (I tend more towards 20 than 25). And all experiences you make "twice" don't really add up, so most of his time in his 2nd life till to now don't let him mature any further. So instead of a 40+ years old going after a 13 years old, it's more like a 20+ years old going after a 13 year old and the age difference is still decreasing (even if not as fast as before, since he bears responsibilitys now, he never had in his previous life) if I may say so. I hope those reading and understanding this are less disgusted afterwards 😉
I'm 100% sure you'll not like the elf (Elinalise) hahaha. Besides all the crazy stuff, this anime is gold, as someone who read the light novel I can guarantee it only gets better
Paul has some insane unrealistic expectations from his 10 year old boy. A 10 year old boy who a few years ago couldn't even leave his house because of a crippling fear. A 10 year old boy who has ZERO experience surviving outside, fighting anything, fending for himself and who has depended on his family for pretty much everything except learning. This Zero experience includes 40 years of his other life in which he literally was a child in a grown man's body fully dependent on his family

EARLY
