A Para equestrian athlete from Belgium, Manon Claeys shares her journey back from severe injury to competition. After her accident, she thought she would never ride a horse again. Now, together with her cherished horse Katarina, she trains surrounded by her team and family to achieve a gold medal in Paris.
Discover the inspiring journey of Manon Claeys 🇧🇪, a Paralympic equestrian athlete hailing from Belgium. In 2007, a riding accident left her with a broken neck and three spinal fractures. Initially doubting she would ever ride again, she defied the odds and got back on her horse. At the 2020 Summer Paralympics, she triumphed, winning bronze medals in both dressage competitions🥉🥉.
