you’re oversimplifying it, he turns into Dark Sonic when powered by the Negative power of the chaos emeralds or whenever he’s pissed off enough, like in Sonic X, he saw Chris and Cosmo, Chris was unconscious and Cosmo was extremely frightened, thus he became Dark Sonic

Sonic only and rarely turns dark when hes pissed or poked (as in like stop pushing my buttons) when his freinds are hurt when hes mad or when just something goes wrong with his freinds and somthing negative happens to him , also there are diffrences with dark and super dark uses fake chaos emeralds wich misght produce negative power since I'm guess normal chaos emeralds produce normal or postive energy negative boosts sonic into turning dark with the negative energy while the samee hapens with super only ita positive and negative energy now to energy thing is actually just a theory so we dont know for sure but i guess thats the case we are also gonna be talking about Sonic's different forms dark ,super,exe, darkspine,(ECT)
Exe and darkspine you might not know so lets talk about that oh yeah i actually forgot one FLEETWAY
Now first lets start with fleetway only the og's know fleetway .Fleetway was actually the one in the comics where he appeared in the sonic comic from 1993 he is just a corrupt version of super just with spiral eyes and definitely more meaner .
Next up , exe he is a demon Cruel and evil version of sonic he is actually a demon taking the body of sonic know not like as in taking the form of him as in like POSSESING HIM yes the demon has a name : exeller short for exe
Now i wont be getting into all of the lore the origin cuz all my replies (mabye i will get replies) my ears will bleed from all the notifs so yeah byt i will say this exeller possessed sonic a cloud.
Next darkspine , now sonic got this form by getting the world rings turning into the infamous, dark purple darkspine sonic now imaa stop and im not gonna mention those other ones cuz MY FINGERS LITTRLEY HURT now bye ;-).

@Rawan Sharif no, you have to keep in mind that, sonic X sonic is too weak acomparison of any other sonic, and also, we saw that the only thing he did went to destroy 2 metarex, what normal sonic have with a hit
@@stardustCD X Sonic isn't THAT weak,he is at least planet level in his super form (he destroyed planets in his fight against shadow) and he's fast enough to dodge lazers that move at the speed of light. So I wouldn't say he's the weakest out of ALL sonics.

@@ayshinobi6990 lol, games Sonic defeated gods soo easily, and X Sonic can be knocked just traspasing some buildings, and the Emeralds are too weak too, in Sonic X they just transform you into super, and teleport you, in games Emeralds can control space and time, you can use Chaos powers, and obviusly trasnform on super
