Venom is probably one of my favorite heroes I play him in aggression aspect and he is a stunning monster. This is also one of my favorite scenarios because of how it feels overwhelming when you fight all four but slowly the power of the encounter changes to your side as there is less and less moving pieces. The leaflet on page 7 says "Any encounter cards from that villain's deck that are in play remain in play" Its a little ambiguous cause the card is face down but I think cause of the grim rule it would stay and you would resolve it best you can. Not that any of this would changed the out come.
