I don't know much (anything) about DJing, but I think basically the decks they're using here are digital, and the ones on the outside are analog. So any given dj has the option of going digital or going analog. You can see Tigerhead's set, for example, where she uses the old school turntables.
The outer two are vinyl players. They either dont play vinyl or they didnt bring them with them. Perhaps someone playing a later set is going to use them.
