Hey Andres, I can help you out. I've had a number of webites over the years. The search engine results pages will show your site once it's established and you have visitors. It might even be available now through search, but you might have to dig through ten or 20 results pages before finding it. It also depends on the area that you are focusing on. Hope that helps.

You should buy the domain, www.andreshinkey.com or whatever you want it to be and then connect your domain to Google Sites the way that David demonstrates. It will cost you ten or twelve dollars a year for that, but it's worth it to get your name on the internet and protected. Or use whatever name you want.

Any ideas why my button is so limited? My button only has the following selections: "Version history", "Duplicate site", then a separating bar followed by "Report a problem", "Help" and finally "Take a tour!" You would be better off making a blog for that there are lots of free bloggers sites you can use or make one of your own Google also has free blogg posting sites you can get one but it's very basic not very customisable especially when it comes to using images and graphic images
Pre make it before hand as a word doc then save it then to add the text create a click and drag in a text box on the website page any size you want it to be then highlight and copy the text, from your computer then paste it on to the page, it should just appear with the copy and paste function, but you may not even need a text box at all, it depends how you want it to look. It is worth mentioning you can make a button as an image and make it into a clickable link. I did this by just making small images with text on Photopea and then adding a link. You can also make it an email link by making the link into mailto:youremail@address.com and it will open an email for visitors to email you. This is a hack to make your buttons their own color :)

I have even chatted with NameCheap live and they have checked my DNS setting and confirmed that my records are correct. - STILL NOT WORKING!! Save yourself a headache and DO NOT USE NAMECHEAP!!!!!!
Same problem here. I entered it yesterday afternoon and nothing overnight so I'm assuming that would be the same as waiting 10 days. In the NameCheap documentation for "TXT record" they show the Host as "@" which I may try next, as per Diana J as well.
