@eleanorfulton8091 Thank you for your kind words and feedback. I (Paul Weaver) am so pleased that you and your son found this helpful. I hope you will find our others videos helpful as well. I will be releasing a book published by Kregel in the next year about the 50 most important findings from biblical archaeology that affirm our faith in the reliability of Scripture.

1: Daniel had a letter addressed to Cyrus, written hundreds of years before, but actually allowing us to calculate the date of the order/ declaration to rebuild Jerusalem until the day the Messiah would ride into Jerusalem on a cost etc. So the letter, declaration & proof of God's stating things that will come to pass years before they actually happened. In this case the bible says that from the day if the order to rebuild Jerusalem, unil the day Messiah would present Himself as the Lamb if God,- The 'Triumphal entry' - and Daniel- Gabriel & the scriptures & events leave no leeway either way. The exact day's arr prophecied and published in 2 languages before Jesus of Nazerath was even born "Veyond Space & Time" or 'Extraterrestrial message' - both by Dr Chuck Missler & if you've not come across his work before - enjoy! I beg u take the time to watch him- and Walter Veith- Kent Hovind's 'Creation Seminar' and see if Henry Gruver's testimonies r still available. All fascinating & I bet u get something out of 1 or all of them! Shabbat shalom. Lucie (Scotland)

I don't think you are thinking of the vision Daniel received, which is recorded in Daniel 9. Harold Hoehner has a great Journal Article articulating the details to the exact day of Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem.

As a Christian is it good to name a child CYRUS

Thanks for your questions @oluremivctoria8463. I wouldn't shy away from naming a child Cyrus because of the historical figure we know as Cyrus the Great. I don't think many would ever associate the two. Although, Cyrus was known for being a benevolent King (as much as can be amongst pagans). Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (CI Scofield) the author of the Scofield Study Bible had that name. He was Episcopalian.

There were four different decrees allowing people to return and rebuild Jerusalem and its temple. The first one was a decree by Cyrus in 539 BC. Cyrus' decree resulted in the possibility of Zerubbabel to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. There was also a second decree by Darius in 519 BC also allowing the temple to be continued to be reuilt. There were two decrees by Artaxerxes (458/457 and 445/444 BC). You are correct that Nehemiah was able to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem as a result of Artaxerxes 2nd decree. Nehemiah led a return to rebuild the walls, whereas Zerubbabel returned to rebuild the temple, which is what this video was all about. Please be more cautious on what you declare "unbiblical."
