Fantastic drawing of Zatanna! 🎩✨ I’m amazed by the detail and how well you captured her iconic look. The step-by-step process was really helpful and inspiring. Thanks for sharing your talent and this awesome tutorial! 🖌💫
To be honest, I think the first small sketch was the best. It may not have been anatomically correct, but it felt more alive than the finished drawing. Her head slightly raised, she seemed to be smiling. The pose looked more dynamic and curvy, kind of reminded me of Harley Quinn from the Batman cartoon a little bit.
I've been reading through your how to draw book, this is another great tutorial. I always underestimate just how much prep time goes into making an original. Can't skip the rough draft phase, it's where all the fun happens.
The concept of ideating on paper and doodling thumbnails is now such a integral part of my method that I tend to do so on my pocket sketchbook at work. Great sketch and video!
A beautiful Zatanna! Never thought of Zatanna having a “Powergirl effect” before, but it makes sense! I look forward to my copies of “Paradise Too” being shipped and arriving!
i love the zatanna drawing you did especially the 'katchoo hair strands" over the right eye. I loved the pencils you used that have the adjustable erasers , which is a perfect tool when you do crossword puzzles like i do when you have to change the spelling all the time. LOL
I recently found a half-used Blackwing pencil on the ground. I'll have to admit, drawing with it feels pretty smooth. I'm afraid I've tasted the forbidden fruit and there's no going back!

Hello from Brazil!
Hello there!
Nice to see the Blackwing pencils and sharpener in use. They're a bit too pricey for me.

What’s the sound on your shirt?
It think it says “Abbey Road Studios”. I got it at their gift shop. 😊
Terry! Why that music!
