3 years ago fot the 5th annyversary of Undertale an official concert was made where the musicians played (if not all) most of the game's OST, here's the link to the concert: th-cam.com/video/srZdDAJbHfc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hKRt8fiUCjBvSagA (if the link doesn't work you can search it for "UNDERTALE 5th Anniversary Concert") and at 2:54:32 they played Megalovania, hope this helps you about what you said around 5:00 Sorry for my crappy English
Exposed main motiff actually was different than the beginning one. The track starts with the starting part of descending motiff, while the exposed part has it ascending. So you were actually right.
Not a marching band cover, though if you want to check it out on your own time there's an Undertale 5th Anniversary Orchestral concert you can find on TH-cam. Megalovania is time-stamped near the end and it was really cool hearing all of these tracks translated to real instruments 😊
megalovania and most of the Undertale soundtrack have been played in an orchestral concert, you should check it out! (not saying it was recorded with an orchestra but like, there was literally a 3 hour orchestral concert where they played the best of the undertale ost)
Fun fact: This isn't the first version of Megalovania. The first version of the song (MeGaLoVania) appeared in the Earthbound Halloween Hack (also by Toby Fox) as the final boss theme. It's a bit different, so please check it out. It follows the final boss telling the players this: tl;dr: eat shit, [homophobic slur] Also, Megalovania has a ton of remixes, though imo the best one is where sans forgets how the song goes.
@@stevenmtaylor21 Actually there's multiple layers to that. The first version of Megalovania is from the EHH (Earthbound: Halloween: Hack), and was created in 2008. The second version is MeGaLoVania (probably the one you just listened to), and was created in 2012 for the webcomic Homestuck. Even if you don't have the context, I would recommend listening to it while watching [S] Wake. (the Flash it's from). The ending is different because it's another character's leitmotif (Vriska).

A song so iconic it got into Super Smash Bros! Actually, I really like that version especially as it sneaks in a couple little references to other Undertale songs.

As others have said, checking out the anniversary orchestral concert is a must! I would especially recommend watching it if you play Undertale (and after you finish it if so) because it will have much more significance relating the themes back to the in-game experiences.

This game nail all of that somehow. It's truely a shiny pearl.
I still say you have to check out undertale's ost undertale, named after the game and well deserving of its title, its one of the most beautiful in the game.
This is a random suggestion, but i think hitorie's "on the front line" would be interesting. You covered their music with the 86 OP a few months back and I remember you quite liking it, this track was used as the recent Mushoku Tensei OP as well :)
Megalovania and Bonetrousle are my favourites from Undertale, though the former is much more popular. Also I love rock/metal covers of both of them (can recommend RichaadEB ones).
I think you would really love analysing Amalgam, from Undertale's soundtrack, because I think it's pretty awesome, and uses exclusively Earthbound soundfonts, so I _might_ be slightly biased.
Megalovania, to me, is on par with stuff like Doom Eternal music. You know what I mean? Definitely not genrewise obviously but they both have that game-y sound to them keeps you pushing and pushing and pushing! Absolutely Top 10 Gaming Soundtrack!
This music was inspired by a music from a game called Live a Live. The music is called Megalomania. I think it is the better song, specially the remake version.
I would love to see Undertale translated to a marching band. The music is already really fun and exciting but on top of that the gameplay itself can look really cool as the field work. Could get really pricey if you play with uniform colors but it would be so cool to see cross through in big moment with a stationary horn line as a blue heart center field.
I think you might be interested in listening to Heartache as well as Bergentrückung + Asgore. (Bergentrückung is just an intro to Asgore and is only about twenty seconds long.) Both of these songs are extremely similar to eachother while also sounding massively different, and are definitely some of the top songs in the OST.

Oh boy.... lol, the director had them do the point. 🤣 Rockin the Cavies shako and everything
@@DrumRollTonyReacts yeah, I'm not sure why. I dig it though. I originally was looking to see if Kyoto Tachibana did it but alas, it was not meant to be.
Toby fox has to be one of the greatest video game music compositor tho like he is the king of motifs and so on i love all his music especially death by glamour or rude buster
PLEASE DO THE UNDERTALE 5th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT PLEASE. ALL THE MUSIC IS SO GOOD. THE STRINGS AND THE BRASS WITH THE WOODWINDS. ALLL OF IT. PLEASEEE
I really hope you react to Spider dance! I honestly think its a pretty cool song/beat tbh
It feels like a prank that he reacts and analyses this 😂 but still dope though
Looking forward for more undertale reactions, and highly recommend listening to Bergentruckung/ASGORE, one of the best themes in the game!
I would love for you to check out some more Undertale tracks. Especially the main theme "Undertale".
I was looking through your reviews and didn’t seem like you’ve done any Tekken music?
I’d like to recommend Yoshimitsu’s theme from Tekken Tag! Tekken has some really cool music
Hey, love your work keep going !
We also need you to react the Ninja Kamui first opening this is so fire !!
what kills me is the fact that creator of undertale considered his music talen to be a side project.
I still wonder how he did not reacted to Parasyte hypnotik ost yet
Yes
You should react to rush e, and then to the rest of the rush collection by Sheet Music Boss. It would be really interesting
Btw megalovania is a banger, and i really like it, maybe my favourite undertale music (on par with metal crusher, bonetroulse, DUMMY!, spider dance, hopes and dreams)
Honestly.. Shocked it took this long to see this song on your channel! If this vid turns out to be a hit, you should check out RichaadEB's cover of this song
I addressed why in the first 15 seconds of the video 📹
@@DrumRollTonyReacts i didn't mean it negatively!
omg I hope you do Asgore's theme it's my fav from the game it's so good
Can you do his theme next
Tony!! You should totally give the Super Smash Bros remix version a listen as well!! it's an official one, composed by Toby Fox or when Sans was added to the game
Toby fox could be in America's Got Talent
unrelated but you check out con lentitud poderosa from risk of rain 2 that's a hell of a banger
Yo, there is a lot of remixed undertale music that are cool. I recommend you last breath phase 3 frostfm cover.
Best? No. Iconic? Yes
I love Sans and you
Do ultrakill the music goes hard
If you have any interest in doing another Undertale piece, Battle Against a True Hero might just be my favorite piece from the whole game.
Long Elevator 🗿
