F (The original version of the song is F without barreing), Am to Gmajor (you can drop the high E in the chord for a consistent sounding open high E-note through the whole song) Also, awesome cover! This is the first song I learned when I bought my first ever guitar 3 years ago :) Freakin great song! Tip: If you like this song, check out "Just A Boy", that one is also amazing, and super fun to play!
Thanks dude. I think there's a few parts in this where I sing the wrong lyrics but its kind of hard to understand some parts when he is singing and there weren't any accurate lyrics online.
The acoustic guitar and vocals are just going into the microphone. It is only a fairly cheap guitar as well, I think I had new strings on there for this recording though which always helps. Its just a matter of having the microphone in the right place. The electric is on a decent guitar and is a direct line input from my amp. Hope that helps
Hey mate, i'm really interested as to how you get such a nice tone for your guitar recordings! Is it a combination of a good quality instrument + either a direct line input into a recording device, or are you recording the guitar audio into that mic? :)
Ah yeah I see. I think the big difference I can hear is through the mic you're using compared to the one I have, which is just a regular Shure mic. What's the brand/model of your one?
Buenísimo, compadre, espectacular.
