Whisky barrel conversion to hold rainwater for garden

Good video. Can you tell me how you clean the silt out of the barrel?

Our barrels seemed to be OK and I have been using the water everyday to water my plants but at first there was a slight smell of whiskey from barrel which we liked

@@lartystuff Thanks. Can I annoy you and ask another question, how did you get the tap secure if you couldn't put a back but on the inside of the barrel?

Put that barrel to good use, fill it back up with whiskey. I would.
