oh that's so true, the days of 'soft power' internationally are long gone with that Joly, Freeland, Trudeau. Big on social justice, but little on history. Our country never used to get involved in foreign wars.We were respected for that individual stance. (i.e. Iraq war) Once involved, dang hard to get out!!! It's very costly too. What a mess overall.
