The Birdman Rally is a competition for home-made gliders, hang gliders and human-powered aircraft. The first Moomba Birdman Rally was held in 1976 and made a comeback in 2004 after a 6 year break.
This is the largest free community festival in Australia and all funds goes to charity of their choice.
