- Watch the Emirates Airbus A380 land at Queen Alia International Airport, Amman for the first time. The special one-off service on 25 September 2016 marked 30 years of Emirates' flights to Jordan. The largest operator of the A380, Emirates has a fleet of 83 A380s flying to over 40 destinations worldwide.
I was so lucky to watch Fly Emirates A380 with Expo livery landing again at Queen Alia Airport today (21-12-2021), it was a great scene for me since it is the first time I see the A380!! Welcome to Jordan

I think you should bring the A380 to Amman permanently, emirates flies 3 times daily to Amman and they are by far and away the highest passenger capacity and the highest demand out of jordan other than Jordan’s national airline plus Jordanians including I love dubai and the UAE so the demand is growing 👍👍👍

cant believe an Emirates a380 landed in the small international airport of Amman ,Jordan!
QAIA has two runways with about 3700 meters length and 60 meters width for each, the thing that makes it easy for an A380 to land safely there.

Why do they pour water on the aircraft?How come we don't see it when we are in it ?
Reasons for giving a water salute
- For a new airline company operating out of the airport for the first time.
- For a new airplane operating commercially for the first time
- If the Captain of the airplane or an ATC member is retiring.
- If the airline is closing down the route and its the last flight of that airline from that particular airport
The Salute
- An even number of fire engines line up along the runway to perform the salute.
- Another way of performing the salute by forming a triangle with the water beams coinciding at the center.
- An airport should have sufficient number of fire engines available so that they can respond to emergencies that may take place in any other part of the airport.
