I know there are better players in the matchup but taking characters into account, Chunkykong might be the best player in the world against Steve. He has routinely beaten Riku and Apple, 2 top Steves from Florida, has beaten DDog, has beaten Jake several times online, and now has cleaned his clock offline. Chunkykong makes this -2 or -3 matchup look even it’s insane.
then maybe you should stop jumping up at steve from the side when he is in the air which will lead to you just jumping into the incoming minecart. You can easily edgeguard steve with forward and d-tilt at ledge, you can easily break walls with the same moves. Your up air juggles steve even with anvil. Your back air is very easy to space to hit Steve in the minecart. Your tilts outrange. Steve has barely anny approach option besides rolling or minecart.@@iang7244

Its not +3 tho. Its dlc privilege, its a broken character, but for steve players, I don't think Dk is their easiest matchups. Steve gets any character to high perce t easili, well as a heavy its a bit less of a problem, steve probly wont kill dk at 80. Its not a good matchup for Dk, but its def not the worst.
I know that the Steve main was nowhere near CK's level, but I just LOVED that broken look on his face next to Chunky's stone cold killer gaze. Bro was rolling eyes each time he got hit by a slightest tilt attack 💀💀💀 it's DK you play against ffs
