In IT industry you are always replacable. People work in IT just because salary is high but they cant see that in 5-10 years as more graduates will enter and demand will be low because of automation then it will be a nightmare. Only option is to look for a second source of income and be self dependent.

Now I know why my elders die (in a good way) when they hear about Govt jobs. Basically we should keep a mindset that we will laid off anytime. So, have a backup plan in handy.
People who have not achieved much in their lives often choose to join TCS However, it is important to remember that just because TCS has not laid you off does not mean that your job is permanent. It is still a private job, and in the worst-case scenario, they may put you under so much pressure that you resign on your own. Unsatisfactory growth has been the case for my cousin, and this may happen to you as well. And remember in private companies you are just one mail down.
This is common sense, software jobs will eventually use AI and increase layoffs , not everyone can do soft skills jobs , white collar jobs , doing business is the only way to earn money independently and in much more amount . I was very confused in choosing carriers , Government jobs or IT jobs , but eventually I realised my father's business is the only safest option I have . I'm getting guidance , stable business , workers , I just need to run it smoothly.
