By constantly use of hatch eggs the salt content with quickly corrode and rust the metal stand. Maybe you could put it in a bucket or another area to prevent further rusting of the stand.

Good question bro. Its been 2 years already i have not experience any diseases like you mentioned.. if ever i will experience it, i might be using rock salt again to cure them, but im also open for commercial formulated medications

Hi RN guppys, There could be many reasons. 1. The selected male was best available at that time. 2. Due to feeding bbs or foods with high beta carotene color enhancer the red pigments are now seen as the male is more mature in color. 3. Red pigments are often seen in some gold color strains. You need to isolate the best color offsprings of gold and inbred them to fix unwanted traits. Hope this helps.
@@RN_guppys There's no known method of producing 50% of each gender. Some line throws more females over males and others the reverse. Try keeping the breeders in like 82F temperatures as its better for them. Red color in golds is unwanted trait. However if you don't have a any good males from the gold line you can only use what you got and hopefully you'll get some fry that doesn't show red when mature. These you'll use to breed to virgin females to continue the color strain. In all fishes its the breeder who needs to cull and select best color and form to maintain a standard of that breed. Hope this helps you to understand. Because that red tip gold male came from a gold line some of his offsprings will not carry the red tip tail color. Remember 50%genetics is inherited from both parents. So there's a good possibility some of his children will not show red tip tails. Finally as mentioned before feeding food with high red pigments can make yellow color turn reddish or orange. That's why you feed some strains with non red food pigments like spirulina or chorella.

I'd recommend the balcony with 3 hours of sunlight as it'll help with algae growth and the fish will be happier!

the 24k gold gullwing males have longfin gonopodiums so they cant breed. you wont get any fry from those male guppies.
