The simple delay trick is actually a stereo spread (also called Haas effect or precedence effect), so basically making it sound wider is what makes you describe it as clearer or more present in the mix. By the way great first video man! Definitely going to check out the rest of your stuff :)
Definitely getting close! I’ve been trying to figure this sound out but can never quite get it. Maybe try using the yo man chorus effect after the vocoder in order to achieve that more metallic tone
Dude....wow. i have to get on ableton. i have been a loyal logic user for years. Can you do the second half of kendrick lamar - x (rickyxsan and yehme2 remix)?
ooo i love that remix! i'll definitely look into it! stay tuned for tomorrow tho i'm dropping a new rickyxsan tutorial tomorrow with free download/presets ;)
MKROOFFICIAL ahh fuckin love u bro. I’m hooked to that remix with yehme2. I’ve been studying Started for a couple weeks. I’ll share my piece soon for some critiquing, in mastering now.
MKROOFFICIAL I got a similar sound with a random cymatics vocal but it’s not really gonna sound the same unless you have the same sample. What I did was just use different settings on the vocoder like unvoiced % and noise setting instead of pitch tracking sometimes. Here I got a similar sound clyp . it/zyqmn1xv
We need more rickyxsan!!! I was waiting for someone to address him!!
