I'm trying to learn cinematography lately.. all this time I've been focusing on camera and colorgrading/editing but was scared to dive into the world of cinematography..specially when it comes to lighting a scene...like I don't know where you start but I started dipping my foot into it and must say as scary as it sounded or looked it is just as satisfying when the scene looks better and turns out the way I envisioned...thank you man for this video and specially for saying "you got this my friend "

The camera and post production play an important role in getting a great image, but for me, achieving the look I've envisioned in camera utilizing cinematography techniques is truly where the magic happens. Great tips! One tip I like to always remember is to try not to shoot b-roll at eye level. Higher or lower can often help it feel more cinematic.
