Good Channel! Glad I found this. As a previous electronic tech(thats my degree) I appriciate your cart repair videos and rigging videos. And I like to see what is in these books to help me decide to buy them.
3 of my most rare and expensive SNES games are Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI and Final Fantasy V put out by a small retro gaming company called Timewalk Games. Did this company have any connection to Nintendo? When did these games come out? The 3 games I mentioned were released in Japan for the Super Famicom but not in the U.S. In the 1990's as far as I know. These games were originally English translated ROMs playable on an SNES emulator on a computer. This Timewalk game company put out these English translations on SNES reproduction carts with reproduction SNES labels in boxes that look like original SNES boxes. Do you have any of these Timewalk games or any others this company produced? I have a LOT of my gaming friends searching for these Timewalk games but can't find them for sale on eBay or any retro gaming store. I wonder how many games this company released and if they were only English translated RPGs that never came out originally for the system.
My favorite SNES games were the big titles - the original Mario Kart, Mario Allstars + Mario World, Super Mario RPG. Those were the ones I spent the most time on when I was a kid.
Time Trax? I forgot about that show. It was like a syndicated cross between Time Cop and Quantum Leap only with the budget of a community theater play. I'm almost surprised it got a game before everyone forgot about it.
I backed this book as well. My name should be in the back I think. I just supported it, didn't buy a copy. But perhaps I will order the book when I could.
When you see games on an emulator list sometimes the title means nothing and can forget what it is. Its not until you see the pic that you remember; Oh yeah that is a good game that I want to play.
Juan Luis Vargas Pareja due to space considerations I actually covered those in the second Compendium book, but it is more of a highlight of games and personal stories.
Captain Scarlet where is your location? I tell everyone International to shoot me an email and I can look them up manually if they would like. I can confirm that due to the weight of the book everything outside of the US, besides for Canada, is almost $50. I've now shipped out 20 books to Europe and it cost me $1000 total! I wish they did international media mail!
As a Washingtonian, I loved Faceball 2000 when I was a kid mainly because it had Seattle in it.
Yep! Anything with Seattle was a mark-out moment for me, too. Bigfoot for NES even has Yakima as a level! That made me completely flip.

I would get a Turbografx-16 one of course but these Snes books look awesome too.

Sweet looking book. just ordered the 2 books by Chris Scullion.

I just got the definitive edition but not sure what the difference is do you ?
Still available? Also any chance there is one for the super famicom? Also what are the differences in the volumes.

what about japanese exclusives?
Juan Luis Vargas Pareja due to space considerations I actually covered those in the second Compendium book, but it is more of a highlight of games and personal stories.
You would need a entire book to cover them all
You're not kidding!
I'm feeling fine, thanks for asking. How're you feeling?
A certain SNES guidebook??
$50 SHIPPING THAT'S A JOKE.
Captain Scarlet
it looks heavy, that's worldwide shipping I think, postage ain't cheap these days.
