Then he gets the longest standing ovation ever on Raw the next day, only to be rivaled by his later title win over HHH. Even competing against the Attitude Era big shots, Hogan still got over on them. Hogan probably saw that turning heel would be a good way to reinvent himself and stay relevant. Warrior didn't work out so hogan became the top guy again eventually. So hogan probably wanted to but Vince didn't want to because he was waiting to see if warrior worked out. Personally I'd have loved to see hogan run as a heel for a period in the wwf.

3:47 I feel kinda depressed… Years of wrestling… Even though a number of Hogan’s years were at the time of EARLY wrestling back in the time before they did this crazy stuff like the Touch Fire… TLC matches… Matches with thumbtacks on the ground… Tables matches and so on.. His body just ended up too beaten down.
Granted, given he’s in his sixties, and I think it’s a good time to give it up- but giving it up simply cause he *has no choice* in the Matter.. THAT sucks!

No offense to Mr. Austin (and I say Mr because he could still open up a can of whoop ass) but I was born in 82 and Hulk Hogan to wrestling is what Michael Jordan is to the NBA or Tom Brady to the NFL. THE GOAT

Most if not all these wrestlers lie and exaggerate stuff, it's basically apart of the job....its ironic how some give hulk a hard time yet give others a pass.

I think Hulk Hogan should have been called out for his many lies that plenty of TH-camrs have covered. Not to say HH isn’t great, but there’s a LOT of inconsistencies where he’s lying like where he almost ended Mark’s career back in the day by pretending he got a botched tombstone.

You mean the same Taker who 100% botched a Tombstone against Koko. B. Ware at the same time and claimed he didn't?
