the most memorable thing about this device from childhood is that its volume knobs spin when you remote control them. that always blew my mind.

what type of screw bit do i use.
I have one but when I put a cd in it reads as no disc and doesn’t spin. Is there a way to fix this?

Did you replace the speakers . They seem not to be sun fade Yellow as I saw them out
I took this old stereo out the closet and was wondering if you could help me out.. I didn't know what I was doing so I pressed the "FM MODE/B.P" button and now it just flashes the word "TUNER" and the radio no longer works. Its all I used it for could you help? 😥 thank you so much in advance

I remember the sound of some cassete radios was much better than this ( they had body ) - the sound is thin in my ears or its your mic that records like this. But the we are talking about casseteradios that costed about 150$ ( 1500kr in 1980 ) - this when everything under 100$ was bad ( the current radio standard) some some costed like 2500-3000kr and was the high end -Your cd-panasonic look and feels flimsy put against those
I've just got mine out of my loft and the sound is not thin. It can be tuned to your taste by using both the graphic EQ and X-Bass control.
what you call audio test...? i can't listen music from your's boombox quietly cos you keep fiddling it....🙄🙄🙄
