    I've been a septic system installer for over 30 years in Michigan, and you are very well educated in septic system function! It's very refreshing to hear someone speak with such honesty and integrity. You are a rare breed. Thanks for your hard work. And I love the poop humor, keep it coming!🤣

      I concur 100%. I am a master plumber. This guy personifys the reason. I spent my career doing new construction and commercial work!! I've installed hundreds of grease traps, and who knows how many miles of drainage lines. I've never once cleaned them or maintained them. Although I have been an ardent disciple of the NO BABY WIPES doctrine!!! This gentleman knows what he's doing. As yes, it's very refreshing to see.

    🇬🇧. Hi to you all I have just found your channel , I heard you talking about digging soggy mud , I worked as a Groundworker here in the uk I am retired now but I found that if you take a Bucket of water and dip your shovel or spade into it it helps to keep the face of the shovel wet making the mud slide off the face of Shovel / spade when digging . Try it and see if it helps . I have enjoyed watching your channel good luck .

    Was just thinking, in this case would one of those battery powered augers (like for ice fishing) work easier than a shovel to dig out the lid?

    Do all systems have two lids? My septic system was put in 1995 and I only have one riser and my tank appears to be concrete.

    Do you put the dirt back?

  • @jasonhill1520
    @jasonhill1520 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I find the people that do only one riser likely only pump one side of the tank

    Does the Drain field represent a health hazard for the household and all those who come into contact with the soil where it is located?!

    • @bradenbodzislaw6371
      @bradenbodzislaw6371 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically no, unless there is an issue where raw solids are entering the drain field.
