I was a teenager in the early to mid 1980s and I had a few Casios and this reminds me of the ones I had. Didn't have world time but had a few that looked similar. I miss those watches. Actually I have one still but half the LCD screen doesn't work.
Just got my world time set in a freaking record time 3 mind thanks to you. Even though i got this watch for 25$ i dont want to beat it up at work which was my intention when originally buying it.

Thank you. This helped me set my AE-12W. Followed your instructions through setting month and date then next the seconds indicator started flashing. It wasn't seconds. It was the last two digits of the year. (21 for 2021) I agree with the many who found this tutorial helpful.

This video didnt help me at all, i had to just keep messing around with the watch myself until i figured it out. Terrible guide.

You're stupid for throwing the informative manual away. Every bit of information you need and how to change the settings are in the manual. What a moron.
On my watch, when I hold down the A button, it goes directly to the city and DST. I cannot set the day, date or any other functions of the watch that need to be adjusted. Ideas?

On Casio W-201 day of the week is selectable, nevertheless the year is set correctly and the watch has an automatic calendar, so the owner can set wrong day of the week.

Cheers mate. I have one and I love it but it's great to have this video handy. I keep forgetting details like how to set your home city and the cities for the other three zones. Truth be told as I work for a global company I reckon it needs six timezones on the main screen. Four isn't enough for me!

Thanks the T1 part was invaluable spent ages trying to set the time but was stuck on city due to not being on T1.

There is also a SIG signal under MUTE signal. It means it beeps every hour. You can set that too.

Are you are in T1 Time mode? 34 seconds into the video he shows how to do this. I had the same problem, hope this helps.
