It's about time that the Stoneshaft and the Bronzebottom came together. It's been a long time coming. Certainly the two are a tight, but good fit together.
Just realised, having listened to the whole series again, when Omin is looking for a temple that speaks to him, I suddenly remembered in the very first episode, Jerry actually said "I like to shop around when it comes to gods"
From Wil himself on Reddit, "I made this decision back in January, because I was going to be at Dragon*Con this year, which conflicts with PAX. However, as the year has gone on, I've really struggled with my depression and anxiety, mostly because I've traveled to promote Tabletop. So after talking with my doctor and my wife, I further decided to just stay home entirely after the beginning of August, and spend the rest of the year writing and creating instead of traveling and exhausting myself."
Jim Darkmagic (of the Newhampshire Darkmagics) isn't a chosen of a god on account of the fact he IS a god. Jim Darkmagic, diety of illusary doves. Pretty niche, but still kinda cool.
I love Acquisitions Incorporated. Even funnier to see 237 comments on the video before: a 1:42 cartoon. Most of the comments left to complain about Wil. Which is sad because he put on a great show. And this one has 62, probably because the people who don't have anything but mean shit to say don't have the willpower to watch a video without something to look at, or liked the video and can't say something nice. Patrick is awesome and did a great job being a new guy to an established group. See? But negative people won't see this. Oh well.
the city Chris mentions 'Athkatla' is on the coast in the Amnish province and is the capital city it's also the backdrop for the early questing in the Baldur's Gate 2 Shadows of Amn video game
It helps to understand that the PA and PvP DnD show and Acq Inc itself have different seasons. The first three seasons of both are the same, but the Dark Sun show isn't Acq Inc. So it offsets the entire show by one season, ergo, the Tyranny of Dragons arc is season 8 of Acq Inc, but season 9 of the PA/PvP DnD show.
This is all too confusing for me. You'd think they'd have done a better job organising and distributing these shows. It's not hard, and saves EVERY viewer having to personally research the order of things, by one person organising them correctly from the start.
BaSH PROMPT How is it confusing? There's a series that wasn't Acquisitions Inc. done for the podcasts before Acquisitions Inc. became a big thing. It was Dark Sun and had three characters that went nowhere and a story that went nowhere. They numbered 'The Penny Arcade & PVPOnline D&D Podcasts" for what they were, and Acquisitions Inc. is one of the shows in those podcasts. This isn't Acq Inc. Season 8. It's Penny Arcade & PVPOnline D&D Podcasts season 8. It's ridiculously easy to follow if you've been around since before the PAX games and stop trying to force current continuity on the whole deal.
+MaulMachine Wait, hang on. They do Tyranny of Dragons?! I'e been following these since they started, but I don't remember this at all. Did I miss this? Is it with Wil or Pat? Also, is it on the D&D site? Have I badgered you with enough questions? I'm literally JUST about to start running ToD, so I'd love to hear this.
Reading the new salvatore books... Stoneshaft... STONEshaft!? STONESHAFT! The clan is in the new books :3 and they... well no spoilers... Spoilers They be messin with demons man,
Me too, what about the remainders of his house and all the treasures inside, like the gold that fell from the ceiling or crystal ball that controls interdimensional travel ?
I've been able to find all the previous seasons on itunes so could download them but I can't find this season to save my life. Can anyone shed some light on this?
+Daniel Hollingsworth You can skip iTunes altogether and download them from here. Instead of clicking on 'Listen' to play it within your browser, right click and 'save as'. dnd.wizards.com/articles/podcasts/acquisitions-inc#submenu-page
What was the reason Al was out? To me, I never hear of the news between games and as time went on, I could sense a deminished friendship between Will and the group. So when he's absent - I think the worst that they finally reached the breaking point
I think i prefer Rollplay to this show since you can see all the character stats and the rolls, and i like the custom world, although i think these guys rp better and just know the game more which is good for my anus on the clenching scale...
I dunno I like Pat more then Wil. I always got the feeling that Wil was trying to hard to be funny ALL the time and it kind of ruined the flow of the game. Not that I think he was a bad guy. Just a little to grand standing for my taste. But I do watch his show table top from time to time.

+Agabmut the lack of upvotes for this is a crime.
What have been seen can´t be unseen... :D
Conor Querin you spell your first name the RIGHT WAY. That's nice to see.
Jerry yelling "HOOOO!!" is one of my favorite moments of Acq Inc ever.
I love these dnd podcasts, they give me something to listen to during work
I wish my friends and I had that much room to play D&D!
pat really completes the dynamic
"Hey Pierro, you don't work here. Why don't you get the F#CK out of my office!"
God I want to game with these guys. XD
I'm so tempted to, one day, if I actually meet Chris Perkins, ask him if my group and I can become the Ten-Towns chapter of Aquisitions Inc. lol

@外国人说中文 Man is dealing with personal issues, "guy was annoying"... real classy
Acquisitions inc was better off without him.
Yes, 4 is Dark Sun. 5, 6 & 7 are the live shows 2010, 2011 & 2012.
Vital Blurs D&D you should pin this comment. Many like me are wondering about this.
OMG. Is this the first time Pat joins the group? I've been looking for it for sooooo long.
Same. Kind of wish they had the entirety of the series in a chronological order somewhere. Feels a lot like research just to watch in order.
@@troyfreitag8996 Kinda late, but I have the playlist of all of it in chronological order on my channel for just that purpose.
@@Zionswasd bro send me a link I'll check it out
Jerry's little one-liners and off-hand comments always make me giggle.
I'd like to see Viari immune to Chocolate one day.

2:50 Chris should set it up so a new celeb team finds the missing half of the mansion, fixes it, and starts their own journey!
When did jerry become such a bad ass ... He is awesome in this campain

MaulMachine That's awesome, thanks! Wish I had access to the resources they have. Must be nice to have Chris as a DM

This was the funniest episode I've seen yet! Lol!
Where are the other 4 seasons? I assume season 4 is dark sun and other live PAX sessions. I try to listen to things in order. Am I missing a season?
are seasons 4-5 on TH-cam?
The Dark Sun series is considered as season 4......5, 6 & 7 are the live shows at PAX 2010, 2011 & 2012.
yay pat! :D
"Milil is the goddess of poetry, eloquence, and song." Since when is Milil a woman? He's a man in the books.

Keep in mind that this was never intended to be 'viewed' as such. It's a podcast and nothing more.

Listening to a dude munch on junk food right into a mic is not exciting when wearing headphones
There are many channels devoted to just this kind of ASMR.
+RUdigitized Some people pay for that you understand?
MrMcBobb heyoo
I find it deeply arousing..."munchy munchy" lol
This is actually season 7. Not 8.

Jim has to be my least liked character. At this point. Followed quickly by Omen.
